Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Lakota

The varsity bowling teams played Lakota last night at Riverview Lanes.  The boys got a good win with Cole Manning the high roller with a 185 and a 182.  The boys record for year is 13 -3. Conference play is 9-1 - runner up in the conference.  The varsity girls got a good win with Kaylie Harris rolling a 257 and a 185.  The girls finished the regular season at 15-1. The are the Bay Division Champions with a perfect season of 8-0  They were the only girls team ever to sweep all area tournaments.  Great job to both teams.  Be ready for sectionals Chargers! More +

Varsity/JV Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Norwalk

The Edison bowling teams took on Norwalk Truckers at home last night.  The varsity boys and girls got huge wins.  JV girls also won...JV boys fell short in the last match.  Kaylie Harris led all scores with a 213 and a 173.  Taylor Harris was high for JV girls with a 144 and a 129.  Varsity boys high roller was Kevin McCloskey was high roller for all the boys with a 217 and a 214.  Kristian Brown was the bbest for the JV boys with a 131 and a 197.  Great job all teams. Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling - Port Clinton Tournament

The Edison varsity bowling teams both participated in the Port Clinton tournament this past Saturday.  The boys took 5th, with Kevin McCloskey taking 4th on the All Conference team.  Kevin shot a 204, 267 and a 179!  The girls won the entire tournament making this their 4th tournament finishing 1st.  Kaylie Harris took 3rd on the All Tournament team, Elisa Villa took 5th and Halle Patton, Natalie Costello and Lily Shover all finished in the top 10!  Great job Charger Bowlers! Varsity/JV Girls Bowling vs. Clyde

The Lady Charger bowling team took on Clyde last night at Riverview Lanes.  Both girls team dominated Clyde. JV won by 138 pins, Kaylie Ries led all scores with a 133 and a 151.  The Varsity girls are still undefeated by beating Clyde by 400 pins.  Kaylie Harris was the high for all girls shooting a 154 and a 224.  Natalie Costello shot her personal high of 230.  Great wins by both teams. Varsity/JV Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Willard

The Edison bowling teams traveled to Willard last night for a pivotal show down for the conference.  Both Charger teams got huge wins.  Edison’s high bowler of the night was Brandon Goodrich with a 229 and a 200.  The varsity girls who are still undefeated had high roller Lily Shover with a 192 and a 164.  The JV girls and boys also had a great night.  Casey Fair was the high score for the boys with a 161 and a 174, and Piper Ball was high for the jv girls with a 158 and a 142.  Great job by all teams! Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Huron

The varsity bowling team hosted a conference showdown Wednesday night with the Huron Tigers.  Varsity boys got a huge win to stay in first place and tied with Willard.  Kevin McCloskey was the boys high roller with a 179 and a 219.  The varsity girls also got a huge win by defeating Huron by 500 pins.  Kaylie Harris was overall top bowler of the night rolling a 267 and a 201.  Great job by both teams! All 4 Bowling teams took on Willard last night.  Edison boys took a huge win with Cole Manning leading the charge with a 193 and a 250.  Both JV teams took close losses.  For the girls Emma Keefe led the way with a 191 and a 159  For the boys Cullin Wilbur had a 154 and a 167.  Great job to all teams. Varsity/JV Boys and Girls Bowling vs. Port Clinton

Your Edison bowling teams traveled to Port Clinton last night. Both varsity and jv teams won their matches.  For the boys, Brandon Goodrich was the high bowler of the night with a 200 and a 193.  Cullen Wilbur was the high for JV with a 144 and a 178.  Varsity girls still stay undefeated by winning by 98 pins.  Lily Shover was the girls high bowler with a 239 and a 155. Piper Ball with the high for the JV girls with a 145 and a 132.  Great job bowlers!  The varsity bowlers will bowl a non-conference match against a power house team from southern Ohio.  Come out and support them.  Watch a great match!  Start time is 4:30 More +

Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling - SBC

The varsity bowling teams were at Cedar Lanes this Saturday for the conference tournament.  The boys finished fourth overall, with Kevin McCloskey taking top honors for the conference with at 258, 204 and 193 for a 655 series. Great job Kevin!  The varsity girls took over all 1st place and won the conference.  Kaylie Harris took top honors for the girls with a 180, 177, and a 165 for a 522 series.  For the first time ever, the Edison girls took the top 4 out of 5 spots.  Lily Shover finished 2nd, Natalie Costello took 3rd and Elisa Villa took 4th!  Great job by both teams! Varsity Girls Bowling vs. Huron

The varsity girls bowling team took on the Huron last night where the girls dominated the match from start to finish.  They hit an all time high with 2689 total pins and also shot the conference high total. Kaylie Harris was the high bowler of the night with a conference high of 269 and a 225, and also hit a conference high of 494 total series.  Halle Patton also shot her high with a 211 and a 180.  Great job ladies! Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Fremont Ross

The varsity boys and girls bowling team took on Fremont Ross last night. It was a great showing by both teams.  The boys dominated all individual games, winning by over 600 pins.  Boys high bowler was Tyler Sayler and Kevin McCloskey with a tie series of 332.  Both shooting over 150.  The girls got another win by over 800 pins.  Kaylie Harris was the high bowler last night shooting her personal high of the year of a 256 and her second game was a 143.   More +

Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling - Christmas Classic

The varsity boys and girls traveled to Star Lanes for the first annual Christmas Classic Saturday.  The boys finished 5th, just 26 pins out of the next round.  Brandon Goodrich was 4th overall.  He received a certificate. The varsity girls won the tournament facing Port Clinton in the last round, winning in the last match.  Kaylie Harris took 5th overall with a 508 series, she also received a certificate.  Great job to both teams! Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling - Huron Eliminator

On Saturday the varsity bowling teams took part in the Huron Eliminator.  The varsity boys finished 3rd in the first round but in the second round, in the best out of 5 matches they got beat by Huron in the last match.  The varsity girls finished 1st in round 1, swept Port Clinton in the the second round and swept Eastwood in the third.  And in the championship it was the best out of 3 games against Willard.  The girls were tired but came on strong and won the the tournament with a 191!  Great job by both teams.   More +

Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Fremont Ross

Edison bowling teams traveled to Fremont once again in a roll off against Fremont Ross.  Varsity and junior varsity boys both got huge wins. Corbin Taylor was high for the jv with a 156 and a 179.  For the varsity boys Tyler Sayler led all scores with a 200 and a 198.  The varsity girls dominated Fremont Ross winning by 800 pins.  Kaylie Harris led the way with a 213 and a 151.  Great job by all 3 teams! Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Port Clinton

Your Edison varsity bowling teams took on Port Clinton at home.  The boys fell short by 30 pins in the last baker game of the night.  Kevin McCloskey was the high bowler of the night with a 135 and a high 230.  The varsity girls on the other hand beat the Redskins by over 300 pins and hitting so far for the season the highest total in conference 2521 pins.  The high bowler for the girls was Kaylie Harris with a 125 and a 212.
