Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Clyde

The Edison Girls Soccer team defeated Clyde with a score of 5 to 0. Great Team play allowed for Aliyah Caporini to score a hat trick with 3 goals and senior Avery Wolfe had 2 goals on the night. Solid defensive play kept the Lady Fliers off the board and that defense was led by senior captains Katie Nealey and Emma Houser. Also part of that solid performance was senior goalie Elizabeth Pruitt. The Lady Chargers are back in action on Thursday at home for Senior night at 5pm. More +

Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Tiffin Columbian

The Edison Girls Soccer team got a road win over Tiffin Columbian with a score of 1 to 0. The lone goal was scored by Aliyah Caporini with an assist from Avery Wolfe. With an excellent team defensive performance the Lady Chargers kept the Lady Tornados of the board with no goals allowed. That defense was led by Katie Nealey, Emma Houser, Alleigh Shreve, Katelyn Chenevey, Madison Chaput, and Goalie  Elizabeth Pruitt. The Edison Lady Chargers JV soccer team were defeated by the Norwalk Truckers yesterday evening with a score of 3-2.  Goals were scored by Jillian McDonnell and Morgan Moon. Assists were from Isabella Sanabria. The Lady Chargers play again on Tuesday at Oak Harbor. More +

The Edison Girls soccer team beat Port Clinton with a score of 4 to 1 on Saturday morning. Three of those goals came from senior captain Piper Nickoli and the other goal was scored by Aliyah Caporini. With the assist on those goals was Livia Lowery, Aliyah Caporini, and Lauren Craig. The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Monday with an away match against Oak Harbor at 7pm. More +

Edison Girls soccer team tied Perkins with a score of 2 to 2. In a hard fought and physical game the two goals came from Autumn Canterbury and Ruby Knowles with an assist from Katie Nealey. The Edison Girls soccer team got a home win over Keystone on Monday night with a score of 4 to 1. All the scores came from great team play with two goals from Piper Nickoli and one goal from Aliyah Caporini. Great team defense held the Lady Wildcats to only one goal. On a special night to bring awareness to Pediatric cancer the Edison Girls soccer team lost to Vermilion 2-0. Both teams walked away from the match knowing some things are bigger than the game. More +

The Edison Lady Chargers jv soccer team took home a win against Willard Saturday morning with a 5-0 lead. Scoring for the Chargers was Morgan Moon with two goals.  Jill Kromer  scored on two penalty kicks, and 1 goal. Assists came from Megan Coleman. The Edison Varsity Girls Soccer team got a big conference road win last night against Port Clinton winning 2-0. Getting their first Varsity goals of the season were Livia Lowery and Ruby Knowles. Those goals came from great team play and was assisted by Autumn Canterbury. The Defense put up a solid performance getting their first shutout of the season and was led by team captains Katie Nealey and Emma Houser. Also part of that excellent performance was Katelyn Chenevey, Alleigh Shreve , and Elizabeth Pruitt. The Lady Chargers are back in action on Saturday with a home game against Crestview at 12:45pm. Scoring for the Chargers were Megan Coleman with two goals, Livia Lowery, Jill Kromer, Brienna Marcy, Halle Patton and Emily Febbo. Edison Girls soccer team fell to Norwalk with a score of 7 to 1. The lone goal for the Lady Chargers came from Aliyah Caporini in the first half. The Chargers will get back to action on Monday August 26th, when they play host to Huron. The matchup with the Tigers is scheduled for 6 pm. More +

The Edison Girls Varsity soccer team dominated Clyde on senior night with a score of 7 to 0. Aliyah Caporini scored another Hat Trick  during the match scoring three times. Avery Wolfe had a strong game scoring two goals and Seniors Captains Hanna Ceja and Holly Racioppi both had one goal each. All these goals came from some amazing assist from Piper Nickoli, Emma Houser, and Katelyn Chenevey. The Defense got their fifth shut out of the year led by Senior Captains Josie Soviak and Sierra Auck and strong contributions from Katie Nealey, Emma Houser, Katelyn Chenevey, Alleigh Shreve, Sophie Clark, Marissa Lisy, and Goalkeeper Elizabeth Pruitt. The Lady Chargers will begin their District playoff games on Saturday October 20th at Ottawa Hills at 2pm. More +

The Edison Girls varsity soccer defeated Tiffin Columbian with a score of 3 to 0. Hanna Ceja scored two goals one in the first half and her second came only two minutes into the second half. The other goal was scored by Piper Nickoli also in the second half. The goals came from two great assist from Aliyah Caporini and Josie Soviak. The Lady Chargers also got their fourth shutout of the season led by Marissa Lisy, Katie Nealey, Emma Houser, Josie Soviak, Katelyn Chenevey, and Alleigh Shreve. Goalie Elizabeth Pruitt had 15 saves during the game securing the team win. The Chargers will be back in action on Monday at 5pm against Clyde for Senior night. More +

The Edison Girls Varsity soccer team defeated Port Clinton with a score of 7 to 0 on Saturday. Aliyah Caporini had a explosive day finishing with four goals to her credit. Also scoring for the Lady Chargers was Hanna Ceja, Piper Nickoli, and Claire Treece each with one goal a piece. The defense played strong and pitched their third shut out of the season. The defense was led by Katie Nealey, Marissa Lisy, Emma Houser, and Katelyn Chenevey. Elizabeth Pruitt and Claire Treece both played solid at the Goalie position stopping 12 shots on goal to keep Port Clinton to zero goals scored. The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Monday night with an away match at Oak Harbor. More +

The Edison Girls Varsity soccer team tied Elyria Catholic 2 to 2 with a thrilling ending to the game. Down 2 to 0 at halftime the Lady Chargers started their come back four minutes into the second half with Piper Nickoli scoring a goal making the score 2 to 1. With 18 seconds left in the game Hanna Ceja made a amazing cross to Aliyah Caporini who headed the ball to Piper Nickoli who got the tying score as time was expiring. The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Saturday with a home game against Port Clinton at 10am. More +
