Boys Track - Regionals
Congratulations to the boys 4x800 relay team! They qualified for the state meet next week by finishing 2nd at the regional meet last night. The team of Dan Lambert, Jon Hrivnak, Cole Weilnau, and Ty Coon ran an 8:04. They will run next Friday in Columbus. Way to go guys!
Girls Track - District Finals
Congratulations to the following girls that placed at the District meet. Paige Schafer took 8th in the 800m run. Abby Lesnaik placed 2nd in the 3200m Run. Isabel Chasney was 3rd in the 1600m Run. Aliyah Caporini was 5th in the 100m and 4th in the 300m Hurdles. The 4x200 relay placed 8th Woodyard, Caporini, Smith, Jeremay. The 4x800 placed 3rd Houser, Schafer, Lesniak. Chasney. Katie Jeremay was 6th in the Pole Vault. Annabella Klima was 8th in the Shot. Way to go Ladies.
Boys Track - District Finals
The boys track team finished 5th out of 17 teams at the District meet Friday night. Moving on to the regionals are: the 4X800 relay, Dan Lambert in the 1600, Ty Coon in the 3200, Dylan O’Dell in the high jump, Morgan Otto finished 6th in the 110 hurdles, the 4X200 team finished 5th. The 4X100 team finished 6th, Caleb Bell finished 6th in the 400, Jon Hrivnak finished 5th in the 800, Connor Romell finished 7th in the 200. Congratulations guys!
Boys Track - Districts
The boys track team participated at the district meet in Oak Harbor last night. The 4X800 team of Lambert, Hrivnak, Weilnau and Coon qualified for the regional by finishing 2nd with a personal best time of 8:02. This beat their previous best by 9 seconds. Way to go guys! Seth Kromer finished 5th in the pole vault and Ian Janssen finished 8th in the long jump. The remaining athletes qualified to run in the finals on Friday. Good Luck Chargers!
Boys Track - SBC (2nd Place)
The boys track team finished a close 2nd to Oak Harbor at the SBC meet Friday night. Ty Coon led the charge as he was named meet MVP. Ty won the 3200, 1600, and 800 meter runs and was also a member of the winning 4X800 relay. Dylan O’Dell won the high jump with a leap of 6’4”. Seth Kromer won the pole vault, Joe Malick finishes 2nd in the discus with a throw of 134’ , 15 feet farther than his previous best throw. Dan Lambert was 2nd in the 3200 and 1600. Connor Romell was 2nd in the 100 & 200. Jon Hrivnak was 2nd in the 800. Great job guys!
Girls Track - SBC (3rd Place)
The girls track team scored 103 points and finished 3rd overall in the SBC championships last Friday night. Abby Lesniak was the outstanding track athlete of the meet for the entire bay conference. Abby won the 3200, 1600, 800 and anchored the winning 4x800 relay to secure the award. The girls compete this Wednesday in the first round of district competition. Good Luck Ladies
Boys/Girls Track - SBC
Congratulations to the following girls who placed last night at the conference meet. Abby Lesniak won the girls two mile. She teamed up with Paige Schafer, Emma Houser, and Isabel Chasney to win the 4x800 relay. Also placing on the night was Marissa Lisy and Annabella Klima in the shot along with Avery Wolfe and Lydia Woodyard in the long jump. The remaining finals are this Friday at Gibsonburg High School. The boys track team competed in the SBC meet last night! The 4X800 relay team was crowned SBC champ last night with a personal best time of 8:11. Ty Coon won the 3200 by breaking the school record. His time of 9:40 the old record by 6 seconds. Great job Ty! The finals will be run Friday night at Gibsonburg. Good luck guys.
Girls Track - Oak Harbor Invitational
The girls track team competed Friday at the Oak Harbor Invite. The girls track team finished in 3rd place. Finishing in first place on the night was the 4x800 relay team of Emma Houser, Abby Lesniak, Isabel Chasney, and Paige Schafer. Abby also won the 1600. Aliyah Caporini was the high point scorer on the night scoring 15.5 points. The girls compete this Tuesday and Friday in the SBC championships. Good luck ladies.
Boys Track - Oak Harbor Invitational
The boys track team finished 2nd at the Oak Harbor Invite Friday night. The highlight of the night was Dylan O’Dell setting a new school record in the high jump with a leap of 6’4 ¼” . The old record was first set over 35 years ago. Congratulations Dylan! Also finishing first for the chargers were: the 4X800 relay of Dan Lambert, Jon Hrivnak, Cole Weilnau and Ty Coon and Dan Lambert in the 1600. Congratulations guys and good luck this week at the SBC championship meet!
Boys/Girls Track vs. Willard
The boys track team beat Willard in a dual meet last night. Finishing first for the Chargers were: Morgan Otto in the 110 and 300 hurdles, Caleb Bell in the 100 meters, Ty Coon in the 800 with a PR time of 1:58, Keagan Grames in the 3200 and Ian Janssen in the long jump. All four relay teams also won! Way to go guys!
The girls track team competed against Willard last night losing 66-62. The girls compete this Friday night at Oak Harbor in the final tune up before the conference meet next week. Good luck ladies!!
Girls Track - Margaretta Invitational Champions
The girls track team won the Margaretta Invite on Friday night. High scorers for the meet were Alyiah Caporini with 21, Abby Lesniak 12.5, Torri Keyser 11, Isabel Chasney 10.5, and Paige Schaffer 10. The girls are on the road tomorrow night at Willard. Good Luck Ladies.

The boys track team was crowned Margaretta Invitational champions Friday night! Finishing first for the Chargers were Daniel Lambert in the 1600, Ty Coon in the 3200, Ian Janssen in the long jump and the 4X800 relay of Coon, Lambert, Jon Hrivnak and Cole Weilnau! Way to go guys!
Girls Track vs. Port Clinton/St. Mary's
Congratulations to the girls track team on their victory over Port Clinton and St. Mary's scoring 83 total team points. There were many great efforts last night however the evening was highlighted by Isabel Chasney returning from injury, Katie Jeremy vaulting 8'6", and Taylor Harris clearing opening height at the high jump for the second time ever in her career and scoring her first ever varsity point. The Girls compete this Friday night at Margaretta. Good Luck Ladies.
Boys Track vs. Port Clinton/St. Mary's
The boys track team beat Port Clinton and St. Mary’s in a tri-meet last night. Taking first place for the Chargers were: Dylan O’Dell in the high jump, Seth Kromer in the pole vault, Morgan Otto in the 110 hurdles, Connor Romell in the 110 and 200, Ty Coon in the 400, Garrett Scott in the 300 hurdles, Drew Sneider in the 800 and Dax Austin in the 3200. Way to go guys!

The boys track team lost to Oak Harbor last night in a dual meet. Finishing first for the Chargers were: Ian Janssen in the long jump, Dylan O’Dell in the high jump, Seth Kromer in the pole vault with a personal best of 12’ 3” , Morgan Otto in the 110 high hurdles, Cas Mastropaolo in the 200 and the 4X100 relay of Connor Romell, Ian Janssen, Justin Daniel and Joe Stoll. The girls track team competed against Oak Harbor last night and lost 38.5 to 94.5. Finishing in first place for the chargers were Anabella Klima in the shot and Abby Lesniak in the 3200. Abby also teamed up with Emma Houser, Paige Schafer, and Rachel Klepper to win the 4x400 relay. The girls compete this Saturday at the Huron Invite. Good Luck ladies.
Boys Track - Edison Invitational Champions
The boys track team was crowned champions amongst the 13 team Edison Invite on Saturday. Finishing first for the Chargers were: the 4X800 relay of Dan Lambert, Jon Hrivnak, Cole Weilnau and Ty Coon. The 4X100 relay of Romell, Janssen, Daniel and Stoll, Morgan Otto in the 110 hurdles, Dan Lambert in the 1600, Jon Hrivnak in the 800 and Ty Coon in the 3200. Way to go guys! The coaches would also like to thank all the parents and team for their help in running the meet!
Girls Track - Edison Invitational
The girls track team competed at the Edison Invitational on Saturday. The girls team finished 4th overall scoring 72 points. The lone champion on the day was Abby Lesniak in the 3200m run. The girls compete tomorrow at home vs. Oak Harbor
Girls Track vs. Huron
The girls track team lost to Huron 63-69. Finishing in first place for the girls team was Tori Keyser in the high jump, Annabella Klima in the shot put, Marissa Lisy in the disc, Jaime Teed in the 400 and Abby Lesniak in the mile the two mile and she teamed up with Paige Schafer, Brenna Chasney, and Rachel Klepper to win the 4x400 relay. The girls compete again this Saturday at the Edison Invite.
Boys Track vs. Huron
The boys track team lost to Huron last night 75-62. First place finishers for the Chargers were: Dylan O’Dell in the high jump, Jon Hrivnak in 1600 and the 3200, Caleb Bell in the 400, Joe Stoll in the 200 and the 4X100 relay of Connor Romell, Ian Janssen, Justin Daniel and Joe Stoll. Way to go guys!
Boys Track - New London Relays
The boys track team finished 2nd in a 12 team field at the New London relays Saturday. The Chargers broke a 25 year old meet record. The 4X1600 team of Dan Lambert, Jon Hrivnak, Keagan Grames and Ty Coon broke the record by 5 seconds. The 4X800 team of Lambert, Hrivnak, Cole Weilnau and Coon ran a 8:21 to break that record also! The long jump team of Ian Janssen, Justin Daniel and Garrett Scott also broke a record! Also finishing first was the 4X100 team of Connor Romell, Ian Janssen, Justin Daniel and Joe Stoll. Way to go guys!
