Morning Announcement for Thursday, September 5

Today’s Trivia Question: How many times does a person blink in a year?

The lunch menu for today is cheesy pizza or chef’s choice Grab and Go or salad bar, mixed vegetables, fresh veggies, assorted fruit,  and milk.  

Any 6th, 7th or 8th grade student who would like to run for student council should get an informational packets from Mrs. Bishop today.  

Any 7th or 8th grader interested in trying out for the Power of the Pen team should sign up outside of Mrs. Hansen's door. Please take an information sheet regarding tryouts and competition dates. 

The 7th & 8th grade volleyball teams will compete against Bellevue starting at 4:30 today in the middle school gym. The 7th & 8th grade football teams will compete against Bellevue at the high school stadium tonight. Admission is $3 for students and adults.  

For those students who are planning to attend the Edison Charger bowling practices on Saturdays at River View Lanes, the start date has been changed to Saturday, September 14th.  

The answer for today’s trivia question is that a person will blink 10,000,000 times in a year.
