The boys varsity basketball team lost this past Saturday to Firelands. The boys were led in scoring by Larry Kessler who had 15 points, and Carson Ehrhardt who chipped in 9 points. The boys return to action this Friday, when they travel to Port Clinton.
The varsity girls basketball team defeated Port Clinton last Friday 46 to 15. Ten players reached the scoring column and the team used a stifling defense limiting the Redskins to only 4 made field goal attempts. The junior varsity girls basketball team defeated Port Clinton 32 to 20. Lilli Schuster paced the attack with 8 points, while Lindsay Roberts and Lydia Woodyard added 6 and 5 points respectively. Jayla Medina and Olivia Vitaz scored 4 points each. The varsity Lady Charger basketball team is back in action tomorrow night when they host St. Paul after the freshmen girls basketball team plays host to Perkins starting at 5:00. Hope to see you courtside.
Freshmen are reminded you will be meeting with Jostens tomorrow at 2:25 for a class ring presentation. Jostens will return on Friday, February 8th and Friday, February 15th to take ring orders during lunch.
The Firelands Challenge Team members are excused at 9:15 this morning to attend round 6 with Lakota and Danbury. Good luck to the team!!
Senior photos for this year's yearbook are due by February 22. Though a digital photo file is preferred, you can also drop off a wallet sized print photo. Senior quotes are also due by the 22nd.
All Senior National Honor Society members - our next meeting will be on Tuesday right after school in Miss Cull's room. Please bring ideas for our Do RIGHT week. See Miss Cull if you can not make it.
The Math Lab is open everyday in room 402 during the lunch periods 5,6, and 7.
Students wishing to take the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics test need to pay the $5.00 registration fee to Mrs. Wallrabenstein by Wednesday, Feb. 6. The test is on Feb. 23.
Speech and Debate members, be sure to sign up for the National Qualifiers tournament this week if you are able to go. If you aren't competing at any future tournaments, please turn in your speech materials or binders. Ms. Baughman will be here after school for practices.
Attention all Interact members, our next meeting will be on Wednesday February 20th. We are still in need of students helping with backpack for the rest of February. If you are able to help out, stop by the library and sign up.
