Morning Announcement for Monday, March 11

Today’s Trivia Question: How many seconds pass by and somebody needs blood?  

The lunch menu for today is bosco sticks with marinara sauce or chef’s choice sandwich or salad bar, broccoli with cheese sauce, fresh veggies, assorted fruit, and milk. 
Don’t let those memories that you created this school year escape. Keep them forever by ordering your 2018-2019 EMS Yearbook. The yearbook has 48 pages with lots and lots of pictures and costs only $15. Bring your money and envelope back to school and see that Mrs. Bishop gets it or you may order online. The deadline has been extended through March 18.

Tomorrow March 12, Edison Middle School Student Council is hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross from 2-7 p.m. here in the gym.  There is still time to recruit a donor to give blood. Have your sonor set up their appointment online. Visit redcrossblood.org and use the code Edison.  Remember for every donor that you recruit you get a chance to enter the drawing for various prizes.  

Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders: Penny Wars starts on Wednesday. Start planning your strategy.  

The answer for today’s question is that every three seconds somebody in the world needs blood.
