Today’s Trivia Question: Who does the voice over for Dory from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory? 

The lunch menu for today is chicken and waffles, or salad bar, chef’s choice sandwich, fresh veggie boat with hummus, assorted fruit, and milk. 

Don’t Forget Physical Day at the high school will be May 21 from 5-7pm. The cost of a physical is $15.  You must call the high school to set up an appointment.  If you didn’t get a physical packet, see Mrs. Bishop or Mrs. Vajda. 

Edison Middle School Student Council will be hosting an 8th grade dance for our 8th grade students. It will be held on Friday, May 31 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dress Attire for the ladies is a school appropriate dress or skirt and blouse.  The gentleman are to wear their plaid or khaki shorts with a collared shirt. Tickets will be sold on May 29 & 30 during lunch for $3.  No tickets will be sold at the door. 

Choir students interested in performing at the church in town must turn in a permission slip in order to participate.
The 6th grade band and the middle school choir will be performing their Spring Concert tomorrow in the gymnasium starting at 7pm. The Art Show will be in the library area starting at 6 p.m.

This week is Kindness Spirit Week. Tomorrow’s  Spirit Day is Dress to Impress Day.  You may dress up for this event.  Check out the signs posted in the cafeteria.

Also, during lunch periods, you may take one of the kindness cards off of the wall.  When you have done that deed, you may hand it in to the staff member working the lunch periods.  At that time you will be given a smiley face to put on the wall.   Tomorrow you may sign one of the posters on the wall and receive a wristband.  In order for others to participate, we are asking that you only do it once.  

Any 8th grade boy interested in playing on the high school golf team please see 5th grade Mr. Fischer to sign up. You will be given a practice and match schedule for the upcoming year.

There will be a meeting on Monday, May 20 at 5:30 pm in the high school cafeteria for any 6th, 7th or 8th grade girl interested in trying out for the cheer squads. See Mrs. Vadja or Mrs. Bishop for a flier.  

There will be a meeting at 2:30 today for any 6th or 7th grade girl interested in playing basketball.  Listen for the announcement this afternoon.
