Morning Announcement for Friday, November 8

Today’s Trivia Question: Which country does owns the word goulash?

The lunch menu for today is popcorn chicken with sauce and a roll or chef’s choice grab and go or salad bar, au gratin potatoes, fresh veggies, fresh fruit, and milk.

Monday, November 11, 2019, is Veterans Day. Edison Middle School Student Council representatives would like everyone to wear something patriotic or the colors of red, white and blue.  

Just a reminder for the 7th grade boys basketball team that practice is after school here in gym today from 3-5 p.m. and Saturday’s practice is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the middle school.

The 5th grade and 8th grade academic challenge teams both have practice on Monday, November 11 after school.  

Monday morning there will be a student council meeting for all of the representatives.

The answer for today’s trivia question is that goulash belongs to Hungary.
