Morning Announcement for Tuesday, November 19

Today’s Thanksgiving joke is: Which side of a turkey has the most feathers?

The lunch menu for today is twisted double cheese stuffed breadsticks with marinara or chef’s choice grab and go or salad bar, corn, fresh veggies, assorted fruit, and milk.  

Tomorrow is a Super delicious day in the Charger Cafe with Domino's Day! Be sure to plan on purchasing school lunch for Domino's Smart Slice Pizza!

Picture Retake Day is tomorrow, November 20.  Any students who wish to get their picture retaken has to bring back their original packet of pictures to give to the photographer. Any new students to our school, or any students or staff members who were absent on Picture Day need to have their pictures taken for the yearbook.  

The 9th Annual Turkey Trot Canned Food Drive starts today and runs through next Monday, November 25.  Edison Middle School Student Council representatives will be in the gym in the morning to collect your non-perishable items. In order to enter the drawing for various prizes, you have to bring in 2 non-perishable items and participate in the Turkey Trot.   Please check the expiration dates.

The 5th grade Academic Challenge team meets on Wednesday.

The 8th grade Academic Challenge has practice everyday this week.

Power of the Pen meets today and Thursday from 3-4:30.

Writing Club meets on Wednesday from 3-4.

Drama Club permission slips are due into the main office by the end of the day on Wednesday. Auditions start on Friday.
