Morning Announcement for Friday, March 22

Today’s Trivia Question: This is a true or false question. The fall and spring equinoxes are the only two times during the year when the sun rises due east and sets due west.

The lunch menu for today is chef’s choice or fish sandwich, assorted vegetables, fresh fruit, and milk.
If you forgot to order your yearbook, and still would like to get one, let Mrs. Bishop know.

Any middle school who is interested in auditioning for the Edison Talent Show, should see Ms. Hartley for a form. The talent show tryouts will be held on April 8 from 3-7 p.m.

As of yesterday, here are the results of the Box Tops for the third quarter. In third place is Mrs. Costello’s last period class; in second place is Mrs. Schnittker’s homeroom; and Mrs. Brady’s homeroom is currently in  first place. Today is the last day for your box tops to count for this quarter. Continue to bring them in for the last quarter.

Any 7th grade student who didn’t receive their fundraising calendars yesterday, should see Mrs. Vajda today.

Any 7th grade student who wants more calendars to sell over break, should see Mrs. Bishop during lunch.

The answer for today’s question is true. The fall and spring equinoxes are the only two times during the year when the sun rises due east and sets due west.

We would like to close with this quote from Lilly Pulitzer: “Despite the forecast, live like it’s spring.”
