Today’s Trivia Question: What month is named after Mars, the Roman god of war?

The lunch menu for today is french toast pizza or chef’s choice sandwich or salad bar, fresh veggies, assorted fruits, mini Rice Krispie treat and milk. 

If you forgot to order your yearbook, and still would like to get one, let Mrs. Bishop know today.  

Here are the results of Penny Wars as of last night. It is a very close race to the finish line.  Running in last place are the 8th grader with a negative total of $41.25. Then right on their heels are the 6th graders who have a negative $37.87. The 7th graders have pulled out and are in the lead with a negative $32.12. The dust is flying everywhere. Tomorrow  Wednesday, March 20 is the last day to make your donation. Edison Middle School Student Council representatives will be in the gym every morning to assist you. The grade that collects the most amount of money will be rewarded to a make you own sundae event. 

Congratulations to the Charger Wrestling Team for winning the Division III Wrestling State Championship this past weekend in Youngstown.  Placing for the Chargers were Max Hermes 4th, Landon Cook 4th, Luke James 4th, Kohen Horvath 6th, Abe Hermes 6th, and Marcus Medina 8th.  Duke Hermes and Clint Finnen also qualified and won matches.  

The Edison Middle School Student Council and Mrs. Bishop would like to thank those students who recruited an adult to give blood at our Blood Drive. We collected 31 units of blood and surpassed our goal.  These students will receive a $10 Dunkin Donut Gift Card Amelia Chartrant, Taryn Hahn, Aidan Metz, Avery McIntrye and Jade Ziegelhofer. While these students will receive a $10 Premier movie gift card, Macari Harris, Lillian Lester, Marina Moore, Sophia Peters, and Cole Ruggles. Please pick up your prize in the main office from Mrs. Bishop at this time.
