It’s Charger BLUE Day! 

 

Today at 3:00, boys golf will be home with Willard. At 4:15, girls tennis is home with Perkins.

At 4:30, girls varsity soccer will be at home with Vermilion. And at 6:00 boys varsity soccer will be at home with Willard.

 

The girls tennis team beat Huron on Tuesday 5-0. Winning for the Chargers at singles were Jayla Medina, Torri Keyser and Alli Vogus. Winning at doubles were the teams of Emily Moore/Emma Horchler and Lindsey Kowalski/Natalie Costello. The team is now 7-3 on the season. Winning for the JV girls tennis last night were doubles partners Mckenna Shaffoe/Noelle Marcy, Rianna Dingle/Avery Gibson, and Brynleigh Dail/Keira Keoghan.

 

The Lady Chargers JV soccer team lost a hard fought game to Oak Harbor on Tuesday with a score of 5-1. Sophomore Jillian McDonnell scored for the Chargers on a penalty kick in the second half. The Chargers will face Huron in a home match next week. 

 

The varsity volleyball team lost to Ontario 25-19, 25-21, 26-24.  Lilli Schuster, Olivia Vitaz, and Kira Appeman had 10 kills each.  Reagan King had 14 assists and Vitaz had 13 assists. The JV volleyball team lost to Ontario 25-18, 25-22.  Sierra Scott and Olivia Wilson each served 5 points.  

 

It’s a new school year and a great time to get involved. Although it’s a crazy time we're all going through, listen to the announcements when clubs and activities are just now organizing. We have something for everyone! 

 

If you are interested in joining the Speech & Debate Club this year, there is a quick informational meeting after school in the auditorium on Thursday, September 10th for the orange group and on Friday, September 11th for the blue group. Plan to attend!
