Today after school in the auditorium, auditions for Anne of Green Gables will be held
Tonight at 5:00, boys varsity soccer is at Port Clinton. At 7:00, girls varsity soccer will be at Port Clinton.
 
Students are reminded to answer the Homeroom Google Classroom questions every day.  On the days you are here it is a health question that you need to answer by 8:00 am.  On your 3 virtual days it is an attendance question that you need to answer by 2:00 pm. Thank you.
 
The girls tennis team beat St. Joe on Tuesday 5-0. Winning at singles were Jayla Medina, Torri Keyser and Alli Vogus. Winning at doubles were the teams of Lindsey Kowalski/Emily Moore and Natalie Costello/Emma Horchler. The team is now 9-3.
 
Last night at Thunderbird South the girls golf team secured a win against Danbury. The team was led by Lauren Neher with a 40, followed by Ava Grant 45, Madison Butler closely followed with a 47 and Mallory Meister chipped in a 52 to round out the top four scores. Edison 184-Danbury 213. Keep Believing and Charging ahead ! The team will be on the road to Sycamore Hills to tee it up against Gibsonburg on Thursday.  Good luck ladies!
 
The varsity volleyball team dropped a tough 5 set match to Bellevue by scores of 18-25, 27-25, 17-25, 26-24, 10-15.  Olivia Vitaz had a quadruple double with 14 kills, 15 assists, 16 digs, and 11 points.  Lindsay Roberts slammed 9 kills, with Lilli Schuster and Kira Appeman following with 8 kills each.  Reagan King had 23 assists, Kayla Mancuso had 11 digs and 5 points, and Jaime Teed had 2 kills and 3 points. The JV volleyball team lost to Bellevue 18-25, 25-27.  Olivia Wilson and Kalli Quillen each served 6 points.
 
The Edison Cross Country teams had a great weekend at the Lake Erie Classic hosted in Vermilion.  The girls team swept their competition, with Chargers finishing in places 1 through 7.  Abby Lesniak, Paige Schaeffer & Lindsay Sneider came home with the medals, and every girl ran a faster time than last week.  On the boys side, Aidan Anderson got his first individual champion medal, leading the boys to a second place team finish behind Firelands.  The boys showed great improvement over last week, and look forward to competing in the Tiffin Covid Classic this Saturday.  Congratulations to this week's Runners of the Week - Mary Anderson & Aidan Anderson. 
 
Show choir auditions are on Tuesday, September 15th and Thursday, September 17th, Sign up for a time slot in the music hallway and also get the music.  Posters show the links for the music and the dance video. Come join a great fun group of people. Any questions, - See Ms Notley.

Picture Day at Edison High School is Wednesday, September 16th and Tuesday September 29th.  Picture order forms are being passed out this week.  Please mark your calendar for these important dates.  
 
Any student driving to and from school must register your vehicle.  Registration forms may be picked up at the office or on Final Forms.  The cost for the vehicle registration tag is $1 and it must be hung from your rear view mirror.
 
Auditions for Anne of Green Gables are tonight after school in the auditorium.  Audition forms and crew forms are available on the Drama Club web page. Forms should be completed before auditions tonight.
 
If you are interested in joining the Speech & Debate Club this year, there is a quick informational meeting after school in the auditorium on Thursday, September 10th for the orange group and on Friday, September 11th for the blue group. Plan to attend! 
 
Just a reminder to get your fall sports programs this week! You must pre-order them in the athletic office. They are $3 each
