Morning Announcement for Tuesday, March 10

Today’s Trivia Question: A single cow can make roughly how many glasses of milk in a lifetime?

The lunch menu for today is mini corn dogs or salad bar or chef’s choice grab and go, green beans, fresh veggies, assorted fruit, chocolate chip cookie and milk.

Attention 7th Graders: We are in need of more donations for the fundraising calendar.  Drop them off in the main office or give to Mrs. Bishop.

Attention all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders: The Edison Middle School Student Council Annual Penny Wars started today and runs through next Tuesday, March 17. Silver coins like nickels, dimes, quarters, dollar coins and dollar bills all subtract from your total amount.  Pennies add to your amount.  Every morning in the gym until 7:50 student council reps will be there to assist you. You want to put pennies in your own grade bottle and silver in the other grade’s bottle. The grade that has the most will be rewarded with a create your own ice cream sundae party.

At this time would these students meet Mrs. Bishop downstairs in the student council room for a picture. They are Madison Butler, Emma Chaput, Keira Koeghan, Jordan Lewis, Peyton Bissell, Lizzie Campbell, Gracie Rang, and Isabella Wilson.

The answer for today’s trivia question is that a single cow can make roughly 200,000 glasses of milk in a lifetime.

We would like to close with this quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson:“For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind.”
