Morning Announcements - Friday, January 10, 2020

Happy Birthday to Harmoni Segee, Megan Coleman, Jami Lynn Stallings and Jake Thompson!

Today ends the second 9 weeks! - A reminder that there is no school on Monday, January 13th. Classes will resume on Tuesday!

At 4:30 today, freshman, JV & varsity boys basketball will be at Huron. At 7:30, the Drama department will present 2 - 1 Act plays.  Tickets will be available at the door. 

On Saturday, Speech and Debate will be at Berea-Midpark High school. At 9:30, Jv wrestling will be at the Lake Invite. At 1:00, JV & varsity girls basketball will be at Huron. At 4:30, freshman, Jv & varsity boys basketball will be at Vermilion, and at 7:30 (in case you missed Friday night's performance) the Drama department will present 2 - 1 Act plays! Tickets are available at the door!

Leading the way for the Chargers was Gavin Jones with his personal best series of 396! Close behind with 389 was Brandon Goodrich!

The Lady Chargers beat Lake Ridge Academy by a score of 85-17. Scoring for the Chargers were Lindsay Roberts (24), Aliyah Caporini (16), Kennedy Keefer (9), Kinsley Rahrig (8), Lydia Woodyard (6), Kalli Quillen (5), Deana Blatnik (4), Jayla Medina (4), Danielle Blatnik (3), Ava Grant (2), Lindsay Sneider (2), Olivia Vitaz (2). We are back in action for a Bay Division matchup at Huron Saturday. JV tips at 1:00 pm with Varsity to follow.

All students will have a copy of their schedule in homeroom Tuesday morning.  

Edison High School will be having a Military Appreciation Night at the boys' basketball game vs. Oak Harbor on January 17th.  Varsity tip-off is at approximately 7:30 pm.  There will be free admittance for all active military and veterans.  

All cast and crew for the Winter One Acts need to be here by 6:30 tonight for our performance. Get into makeup and costume and be ready for the show to start at 7:30.  Reminder that the bus leaves at 7 am tomorrow morning for conference.

Are you looking to get involved? We are starting a new Entrepreneurship Club! If you would like to own your own business one day and learn how local business owners became successful this club may be for you! We will be visiting local businesses to learn the ins and outs of how they operate! Please come to our first informational meeting on Tuesday, January 14th at 3:00pm in the Library

Speech and Debate team, the bus for the Berea-Midpark tournament on Saturday leaves by 7:05 AM!

Tonight and Saturday, the Edison Drama Club will present two one act plays: This is Your Brain on Social Media presented by students from the middle school, and Law and Order; Fairy Tale Unit, directed by Leo Schnellinger and presented by the Edison Drama Club.  Tickets are $5 for students and senior citizens and $6 for adults.  All tickets will be sold at the door and all seating is general admission.

Attention Drama Club members attending the area conference this Saturday.  Emergency Medical forms are available on the call board and must be completed today.  The bus will load at 7:00  Saturday.  We will return by 4:00.
