It’s Progress Report Week - please make sure all your school work is turned in and up to date! 
 
At 7:00 tonight the Charger football team will travel to Huron. On Saturday morning at 9:30, girls soccer is home with Port Clinton, at 10:00 Jv football is home with Huron. At 11:15, boys varsity soccer is home with Port Clinton.
 
The girls tennis team ended the regular season with a 5-0 win at Oak Harbor. Winning at singles were Jayla Medina, Torri Keyser and Alli Vogus. Winning at doubles were the teams of Lindsey Kowalski/Natalie Costello and Emily Moore/Emma Horchler. The team ended the regular season with an impressive 14-5 record overall! Way to go Lady Chargers on a great season!
 
The Edison Girls Soccer team lost to Perkins with a score of 3 to 1. The lone Lady Charger goal was scored by Alleigh Shreve, her second goal of the season. The Chargers will play again Saturday morning celebrating senior day.
 
The varsity volleyball team battled hard but eventually fell to state ranked Huron by scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-23.  Kira Appemen led the team with 12 kills and 16 digs.  Olivia Vitaz had 18 assists and 10 digs, Lilli Schuster had 8 kills and 11 digs, Lydia Woodyard led the team with 6 points, and Lindsay Roberts had 4 blocks.
 
Attention all juniors with GPA over 3.75 - please check your email for important information about joining National Honor Society this year!!
 
Attention all Senior members and potential senior members of National Honor Society. Our first meeting of the year will be next Tuesday Oct 6 or next Wednesday Oct 7 at 2:55 in Mrs. Facemire's room. You can come either day but you must attend one of the days to meet your attendance requirement. Please email Mrs. Facemire BEFORE the meeting if you can not attend. Also, please check your email for an important email that you need to respond to.
 
Interested in joining Book Club? On Monday October 5th at 2:00 we will have a virtual book club meeting to decide our first read.  For more information or to get an invite - email Mrs Wobser at [email protected] We meet before school & after school - and snacks are provided. Even if you can’t keep up with the reading, come for the discussion! More questions, feel free to talk to our co-presidents Zepha Murray or Leo Schnellinger!

The Athletic Dept is selling Charger Football Playoff apparel!  Go to www.pelzshirtshack.com for more information or pick up a flyer in the athletic office. The order deadline is Oct. 5th at noon Pickup will be on Thursday, Oct. 8th from 6-7pm or Friday the 9th during school hours.
 
All individuals who are interested in wrestling this season should sign up in the athletic office by no later than Friday, October 9th.  Coach Hermes will be having an informational meeting in the near future to discuss the upcoming season
 
Speech & Debate Club Members, Policy Debate practices are Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Speech practices are Thursday and Friday. Sign up for a time on the bulletin board! 
 
Attention Sophomores: If you are interested in applying for the HOBY Scholarship please see Ms. Spademan in the Main Office by October 16th and go to www.HOBY.org/lead.
