Happy Birthday to Jackson Berardi &  Dr Seuss!

The Charger Wrestling team continued their dominance by winning their sixth straight sectional title with 328 points.  Winning sectional title were Max Hermes, Jared Fantauzzi, Alec Homan, Hunter Vogus, Casey Barnett, Griffin Soviak, Shadrick Slone, Jacob Thompson, and Jacob Brewer. Finishing as runner-up were Landon Cook and Logan Lloyd.  Taking third were Jakey Neer and Cason Holmes.  Rounding out the scoring in fifth place was Jaden Timbs.  The Chargers will be back in action Friday in Napoleon for the District Tournament.  The top four wrestlers in each weight class will advance to the state tournament.

Congratulations Varsity competition squad who competed this weekend at St John’s arena at the OASSA cheer state competition. The girls finished runner up in Division 4 in the non building division. Congratulations cheerleaders! 

Welcome to National Foreign Language week!  This week, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find Carmen Sandiego and her accomplices to return the world’s artifacts.  Report your findings to Mrs. Moyer in the library - she is offering a reward for all intel.

This Wednesday all freshmen, sophomores and juniors will schedule their 2020-2021 classes.  This will take place during your study hall.  Those students on Response need to report to study hall at the beginning of the period.  When you are finished you may return to Response.  Those students who do not have a study hall will receive an invitation in homeroom tomorrow morning with the time to report.  Your teachers are aware you will miss a few minutes of class to do this.  When you are finished you will return to your class.  All students must bring your chromebook.  All other items will be provided to assist you in entering your course requests.  If you are absent on Wednesday your course requests will be entered for you.  If you have any questions, please stop in the office today.    

Congratulations to Edison TLC members, Riley Rospert, Kylie McDonnell, Dax Austin, Mackenzie Wilson, Piper Nickoli, and Jamie Anderson. Yesterday they presented at the 1st Ever Teen Leadership Corps. Shark Tank Event and came home the winners!  Way to go leaders! 

Congratulations to the Edison Math team which participated in the OCTM contest last week at Perkins High School. Edison earned first place at the Perkins test site with a team score of 79 points--and Perkins placed second with a team score of only 52 points!  The Edison team consisted of Andrew Kibler (first place at the Perkins test site), Piper Nickoli (2nd place), and a 3rd place tie between Jared Everman, Adam Frederick, and Nathan Spence.  Congratulations to all Edison students who participated--14 Edison students placed in the top 20 students at the Perkins test site!

The February issue of the Charger Spirit newspaper will be available today.  Pick up your copy in the library or during your study hall!

Speech and Debate Club members, please bring in your framed NSDA certificates either this week or next week. The frames can be left in Miss Baughman's mailbox or brought in after school. Any POI binders should also be returned. 

The Spanish Club Cook-In has been rescheduled for this Wednesday, March 4th. Sign ups begin today. The restaurant outing will be rescheduled for a later date.

ALL National Honor Society members - We will have a meeting for all Juniors and Seniors tomorrow after school in Mrs. Facemire's room.  The meeting will last approximately 20 minutes and you must attend so please make arrangements with coaches and jobs so that you can be there. New inductees we will cover information that we would have talked about at Thursday's meeting and Seniors make sure you bring you final "Acts of Kindness" ideas if your month is not done yet.

Carmen Sandiego has stolen the world’s Carpe Diem. She is hiding out with a dastardly accomplice that she at the premier of Dead Poets’ society. If you find Carmen and figure out who the accomplice is, report it in the library. Mrs. Moyer, lead detective, has rewards for all intel.
