Morning Announcement for Wednesday, November 28

Today’s Riddle: What did the yeast say to the bag of flour while working on their science project?

The lunch menu for today is French toast with sausage or salad bar or chef’s choice sub, hash brown stars, 100% vegetable juice, assorted fruit and milk. The salad bar is now open.

The 7th grade Academic Challenge has practice today and Friday from 3-4 in Mrs. Yingling’s room.

Power of the Pen has practice today and Thursday this week from 3-4:30 in Mrs. Hansen’s room.

Any 7th or 8th grade student who would like to work the scorebook for the girls basketball team, should see Mrs. Vajda or Mrs. Bishop today.

Attention 4th Grade Students: Please turn in your flutophone money to Miss Hartley or your homeroom teacher by this Friday, November 30.

Don’t forget to bring in your donate items for Project Happy. Any student that brings in an item will be entered into a drawing to be able to help wrap the packages while enjoying Christmas music and snacks.  Boxes are in the homerooms.  Items should fit in a shoebox.

The answer for today’s questions is that the whole working on their science project the yeast said to the bag of flour, “We knead to be serious.”

We would like to close with this quote from Gerald Good. “If you want to turn your life around, try thankfulness.  It will change your life mightily.”
