Morning Announcements - Wednesday, November 28, 2018

It’s progress report week! We are ½ way through the second 9 weeks! Keep working hard Chargers! 

At 4:00 today, boys and girls bowling will be at Clyde.

The Edison Writing Center is open during all lunch periods today.  If you need help with a writing assignment, bring your lunch and your essay to Room 201 today.

French Club -- it's that time.  Yes, the annual French vs. Spanish Soccer game!  Sign-up in Madame's room TODAY on the side board.  See Madame or Jacob Lombardi for more information and team planning :-)

French Club members are also reminded that Bonbon money is due this week.  Get your $14 to Madame by Friday.

The annual Spanish Club vs. French Club soccer game will be this Thursday after school in the field house at 3:00.

Art Club for today has been cancelled.  We will resume meeting on Wednesday, December 12.

Attention Congressional and policy debaters.  Mr. Amstutz will meet with all congressional debaters that plan to compete this Saturday at Perrysburg tomorrow, Tuesday from 3- 4:15 and with Policy debaters on Wednesday from 3-3:45.  Please plan to attend this meeting.

A reminder if your holding on to your Charger Do Right tickets - you must turn them in ASAP! 

There will be a tennis meeting on Thursday after school in Coach Meredith room for anyone not in a winter sport who is thinking about playing this spring.

Ashton Houser, Kolin Wilson, Bryson Harrington, Walker Cisco and Caleb Preston please report to the office.

Speech and Debate Team: If you are competing at Perrysburg this weekend, the bus will leave promptly at 6:45 AM, so don't be late! Miss Baughman will be available for practices Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after school. Be sure to sign up for a practice time at the bulletin board. 

Book Club will meet briefly Friday after school in Room 203 to select our next read.  Come with some potential ideas to share. 

We are having an AM Assembly this morning in the auditorium. Joel Penton, an OSU graduate and former football player, will be the guest speaker. Joel has a powerful message that compliments our Do RIGHT initiative. Please be kind and respectful to Joel by leaving your cell phones in your 3rd period class.

Attention students interested in participating in the winter one acts!  The high school one act this year will be Greek Mythology Olympiaganza, a fast paced comedy with a large, flexible cast.  This is the perfect opportunity for students who have thought about giving drama club a try.  Auditions will be this week Thursday at 3:15. Crew interviews will be Thursday during the lunch modules.

On Thursday, there will also be a short, informational meeting for students planning to attend the Area and or state Thespian Conference. The meeting will last no longer than 15 minutes.
 
The following students should come to the library at this time: Jacob Lombardi, Chase O’Dell, Adam Frederick, Abby Woodyard, Mackenzie Wilson, Arianna Heyl, Maddie Drake, Mallory Stiles, and Katie Jeremay. Again, to the library 

There will be an Interact meeting Tuesday, December 4 at 7:30 before school in the auditorium.
