Morning Announcements - Tuesday, December 4, 2018

Today at 4:00, boys and girls bowling will be at home with Port Clinton. At 5:00, boys basketball will tip off their home season with Perkins.

Attention students:  we are administering 1st semester exams prior to Christmas Break this year to eliminate the long layover.  Exams will be given on December 19th & 20th with make-ups on the 21st.  Please see the exam schedule posted in the hallways and classrooms.

Publications has started taking orders for the 2018-2019 yearbook.  Please turn in the form given to you by your homeroom teacher to Mr. Murray along with a check for $60 made out to Edison High School.  You can also order an EHS yearbook from jostensyearbooks.com.  

French Club, on Friday December 7th after school we will have our St. Nicholas party in Madame’s room.  For details, watch the board! Money is due for Chez Franzois now. 

Attention policy debaters: Mr. Amstutz will meet with you briefly after school today to prepare for the Vermilion tournament on Saturday.  If you plan to compete, you must check in with Mr. Amstutz today.  He will also bring copies of the Perrysburg results for speech, congress and policy.  Meet in room 408.

Attention all football players. there will be a meeting immediately after school today to discuss the off-season program.  The meeting will take place in the auditorium and last about 15 minutes.  If you are interested in playing football next season then your attendance is expected.

There will be a Spanish Honor Society Officers only meeting after school Wednesday, December 5th in room 302.

Speech and Debate Members: The bus for Vermilion leaves at 7:25 on Saturday. Miss Baughman will be here for practices after school, so be sure to sign up for a time! 

On Wednesday there will be a Policy Debate meeting after school in the conference room until 3:15 to go over the results of the Perrysburg tournament.  A reminder to bring your ballets to the meeting. 

A reminder to Interact members who signed up to pack military boxes.  It will take place tomorrow at 3:15 in the cafeteria.

There will be a meeting at 7:15 and again at 2:50 for the Edison History Club.  Please bring ideas and nominations for officers (self or acknowledging another worthy candidate.)  See Mrs. Davis or Sean Rhodes if you have any questions

Attention any student interested in competing in public forum debate Please meet with Mr. Amstutz today after school in the conference room. The January topic is on reducing the national debt, a great topic with lots of evidence! We will only compete in Public Forum debate if there are students interested in the topic.

Reminder to all SENIOR National Honor Society members and SENIOR inductees - our monthly meeting is today after school in Miss Cull's room.  You must be there or see Miss Cull to get information missed.  Only Seniors need to attend.
