Morning Announcement for Thursday, December 6

Today’s Holiday Joke: What is the elf on the shelf’s favorite school subject?

The lunch menu for today is spaghetti with meat sauce and a roll or salad bar or chef’s choice sub, Italian Blend vegetables, assorted fruit, and milk.

Power of the Pen has practice today from 3:00 to 4:30 in Mrs. Hansen’s room.

Don’t forget about Project Happy. Donated items will be accepted through next week.  Let’s put smiles on children faces during the holidays by creating these boxes.  Boxes are in the homerooms and items should fit in a shoebox.

Any Academic Challenge member who has not handed in their book to Mrs. Yingling should do so today.

We wish good luck to the 7th and 8th grade basketball teams as they compete against Bellevue.  Girls travel to Bellevue while the boys are at home.  All tickets are $3.

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Academic Challenge Team on their first place finish at the Erie County Firelands Meet for the third year in a row. Members are Tristan Bentley, Nadia Cantelli, Jeff Esser, Sara Gates, Luke James, Chase King, Noah Proctor and Carson Smith.

The answer for today’s questions is that the elf on the shelf’s favorite school subject is Spilling.

We would like to close with this quote from Helen Keller. “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.  They must be felt with the heart.  Wishing you happiness.”
