Morning Announcement for Thursday, November 8

Here is today’s question : What sound does a turkey’s phone make?

The lunch menu for today is General Tso’s chicken served with rice or chef’s choice sandwich or salad bar, Oriental blend vegetables, fresh veggies with hummus, assorted fruit, a mini Rice Krispie treat and milk. Sorry but there will be no fortune cookies today instead we get a mini Rice Krispies treat.   

The Scholastic Book Fair will be open today during conferences from 1-7 p.m.  Then Friday with be the last day that you can shop for that perfect book from 8-2. 

All 7th grade girls basketball players will get on Bus 3 today after school to ride to the elementary. Remember that is Bus 3 to ride to the elementary school for practice."

In honor of Veterans Day this Friday, the Edison Middle School Student Council would like all of the students and staff to wear the colors red, white and blue or something patriotic like a shirt with stars or a flag on it.  No hats, hair or face painting is permitted.  We are honoring our veterans.   

The order forms for the coasters that the Edison Middle School Parents Club is selling are due in tomorrow.

The EMS Parents Club is hosting a dance for EMS 7th & 8th grade students on Friday, November 9 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. with a $1 admission.  The dance is casual attire in the gym with refreshments in the cafeteria.  

The 7th & 8th grade Academic Challenge members are to meet Mrs. Yingling in front of the library this morning at 8:15.  Make sure that you have your coat with you.  

Congratulations to the sixth grade academic team who placed 2nd at the Erie County Meet.  Team members include Abe Hermes, Zachary Rang, Alaina Keegan, Maylie Weilnau, Gavin Mesenburg, Nathan Dolsen, Jackson Michaelis, Sophia Peters, and Gabe Dymond.  Way to show your Charger Pride!
