Happy Birthday to Logan Sayler!

A reminder there is no school on Monday as it’s Martin Luther King Jr Day - it’s a national holiday, no mail and banks are closed.

Today at 4:00, boys & girls bowling will be at home with Huron and at 4:30, freshmen, Jv & varsity boys basketball will be at Vermilion. At 10:00 tomorrow morning, Edison will host the JV wrestling Invite, and at 1:00, JV & varsity girls basketball will be at Vermilion.

Freshman Boys Basketball hosted Margaretta on Tuesday.  The Chargers jumped out to a 15-2 lead in the first couple quarters and managed to hold on with a 37-28 victory after being beat by 30 earlier in the year.  Clay Byington lead all scores with 14 points, Jacob Robinson chipped in 7, and Brady Barker added 6.  The team shot 10 for 11 from the free throw line.  The Chargers face Vermilion tonight at Vermilion.

The varsity bowling team hosted a conference showdown Wednesday night with the Huron Tigers.  Varsity boys got a huge win to stay in first place and tied with Willard.  Kevin McCloskey was the boys high roller with a 179 and a 219.  The varsity girls also got a huge win by defeating Huron by 500 pins.  Kaylie Harris was overall top bowler of the night rolling a 267 and a 201.  Great job by both teams!

A reminder to Mock Trial participants to please turn in your permission slips to Mr. Meredith.

ACT Boot Camp is happening once again!  Registration is limited to the first 30 junior and senior paid applicants.  Complete the registration form no later than February 6, pay with cash or check in the main office! Registration forms can be obtained from the library or from Mrs. Brown!  Register now as class fills up fast! Questions?  See Mrs. Brown!

Attention students interested in participating in Big Fish, our spring musical.  Today is the last day to audition or sign up for a crew.  Crew signup is during lunch in front of the auditorium and auditions are at 3 in the auditorium.

Senior photos for this year's yearbook are due by February 22.  Though a digital photo file is preferred, you can also drop off a wallet sized print photo.  Senior quotes are also due by the 22nd.

Those students taking the national Spanish exam must pay the $8 fee today 18 to Profesora.  Any questions see Profa!

You still have time to order a T Shirt to support Anne Meredith! Order sheets are in the library and athletic office and must be ordered online!  
The Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics contest will be on Saturday, Feb. 23 at Perkins High School. Anyone interested in taking the test must pay the $5.00 registration fee to Mrs. Wallrabenstein by Wednesday, Feb. 6. Information sheets are available from Mrs. Wally or your math teacher.

Lead2Hope will meet today at 3PM in the Response.  L2H members should sign up outside Mrs. Browns office for the bake sale and other activities.

Speech and Debate team: Be sure to sign up for State and National Qualifiers. Miss Baughman will be here after school for practices, so sign up for a time.
