Morning Announcement for Thursday, January 17

Today’s trivia question is: According to the Guinness Book of World Records, how big is the world’s largest snowflake?   

The lunch menu for today is turkey bowl and a dinner roll or salad bar or chef’s choice sandwich, mashed potatoes, corn, fresh veggies, assorted fruit and milk. 

We have more of the  Annestrong wristbands for sell.  They are only $2 and the proceeds goes to Mrs. Meredith.  See Mrs. Bishop during lunch.  

Are you creative and like to draw? Would you like to enter the yearbook cover design contest?  If you answered yes to those questions, then you should see Mrs. Bishop for a packet with all of the necessary information today.  

The permission slips and payment for the upcoming mini cheerleading clinic is due tomorrow, Jan. 18. Please turn it in to your homeroom teacher.  
Edison Middle School Student Council representatives are reminded that their Pros and Cons from the Fun Night are due to Mrs Bishop by the end of today.

The 7th & 8th grade basketball teams compete against Perkins today. Girls will travel to Perkins, while the boys will play here. All tickets are $3.

The answer for today’s question is the world’s largest snowflake was reported to be 15 inches across and 8 inches thick according the Guiness book of World Records.
