Morning Announcements - Friday, September 6, 2019
Happy Birthday to Meredith Hollar, Anferny DeLeon, Jaden Garn, and Maria Heide!

The response lounge and the Library are closed today until NOON.  No students will be permitted in until then.

It’s football Friday...tonight at 7:00 the varsity Charger football team will be at Seneca East.
On Saturday morning, the cross country teams will compete at the Tiffin Carnival. At 9:00, JV volleyball will be at the Norwalk Invite. At 10:00, 9th & varsity volleyball will be at Monroeville. Also at 10, JV football will be at home with Seneca East. At 11:00, boys JV soccer is home with Woodmore, and at 12:45 Girls varsity soccer is home with Crestview.

The girls tennis team beat Oak Harbor on Thursday 5-0. Winning at singles were Jayla Medina, Emily Vogus, and Alli Vogus. Winning at doubles were the teams of Kaylee Ries/Torri Keyser and Emily Moore/Lindsey Kowalski. Winning for the JV team was the doubles team of Kya Gibbs/Noelle Marcy.  The team is now 8-2 overall.

The Lady Chargers JV soccer team lost the battle against Oak Harbor 2-0 last night. The girls play again next Tuesday away at Sandusky.

The JV Boys Soccer team lost a hard fought battle with Oak Harbor last night with a score of 3-4. Otto Berkmueller was assisted by Miguel Echevarria who also tallied a goal from Garret McQuillen who had a goal as well. The team had superb passing and possession but came up short in the end. They will look to rebound on Tuesday at Perkins. 

The girls golf team secured another win last night at Plumbrook bringing their record to 9-1 . Jordan Pruitt’s 38 led the way and followed closely by Hunter Barylski’s 43, Lauren Neher 47 and Ava Grant added a 52.  The girls will have a full schedule next week beginning with a road trip on Monday to Sleep Hollow to tee it up against the Margaretta Polar Bears. Good Luck and Keep Recharging and Believing!!!

The varsity volleyball team lost to Willard 25-14, 25-17, 25-18.  Kira Appeman had 9 kills, Natalie Lambert had 10 assists, and Kayla Mancuso had 11 digs. The JV volleyball team beat Willard 25-23, 25-14.  Skylie Hixon served 12 points and Reagan King served 7 points.

Beginning today, September 6th- the cafeteria will have a "Share Table" set out in the cafeteria during lunch periods. This table is to place unopened items such as applesauce cups, unopened veggie packs, juice boxes etc that you chose during your lunch, but did not eat. Instead of throwing these items away - we ask that you place them on the share table. Anyone that needs a little more food for their school day can then take items Off the share table that they want to eat. Again only unopened packaged items may be placed on the share table. If you have any questions please ask the friendly lunch ladies!

Picture Day is coming soon to EHS! Wednesday, September 11th be sure to dress your best and put on your greatest smile!  Please remember to turn in your picture order form to the photographer or you can pre-order at mylifetouch.com, using your Picture Day ID EVT4W7X2B.

We will be offering the ASVAB Military Placement Test on Tuesday, October 2nd at 8:00am. If you are interestested in being in the military this is a test you will need to take.  See Ms. Spademan or sign up at the Counselor's bulletin board by  Thursday, September 26th, 2019

Attention Juniors and seniors: BGSU Firelands College is hosting college night on Tuesday September 10th from 6-7:30! They will be bringing over 70 college reps for you to speak with.  Grab your parents or friends and make plans to be at BGSU on Tuesday September 10th!

The Math Lab is open everyday during 5th, 6th, and 7th periods. Students who would like to volunteer to tutor other students in the Math Lab should pick up an application form from Mrs. Wallrabenstein as soon as possible.

The first meeting of the year for seniors in National Honor Society will be Tuesday September 10, right afterschool in Mrs. Facemire's room. If you can not attend you need to see Mrs. Facemire before the meeting.

Junior and seniors are reminded if they are interested in doing ACT bootcamp to get your registration and money to the office by September 16th. For more information check your school email! 

Parlez-vous français?  Think you might like to know a little more about French and world cultures?  Join us this Thursday morning, September 12 starting at 7:25 in room 503 for our first meeting of the year and see what French Club has in store this year!  A bientot!

Students interested in auditioning or signing up for crew work for Radium Girls, the Edison Drama Club's fall production, are invited to attend a short meeting Wednesday, September 11 at 3:00 in the auditorium.

Again a reminder that the Responsibility room and the library are closed until noon today.  Responsibility students will need to find an open class room or report to study hall.
