Morning Announcements - Friday, August 30, 2019
Happy Birthday to Noah Schmenk, Claire Treece, Ava Grant and Scott Baker-Gildenmeister!

It’s Football Friday!
At 7:00 tonight the varsity Charger football team will open it’s season at home with Firelands!

On Saturday morning at 10:00, JV football will at Firelands.  At 6:00 Saturday night, the Marching band will be performing at the Milan Melon Festival. Best of luck to our ladies running for Melon Queen, Briana, Haley & Emily.

The boys golf team had a pair of matches this week. The boys lost to Margaretta 174 to 197. Leading the Chargers that day was Aden Hall with a 46. The boys also lost to Oak Harbor 177-211. Noak Pulaski led the boys with a 47. The boys will return home for matches next Tue and Wed.

The girls tennis team beat PC on Thursday 5-0. Winning at singles were Jayla Medina, Emily Vogus and Alli Vogus. Winning at doubles were the teams of Kaylee Ries/Torri Keyser and Emily Moore/Lindsey Kowalski. Winning for the JV team at singles were Lili Grant and Noelle Marcy. The team is now 5-2.

A reminder that there is no school on Monday or Tuesday next week!

Presale tickets are now available for the home Football Game Friday night.  Stop into the athletic office and get your presale ticket for $5 each.  All tickets at the gate are $6.

Picture Day at EHS is on Wednesday, September 11th.  Picture order forms are being passed out this morning in homeroom.  Be sure to take your order forms home.  

We will be offering the ASVAB Military Placement Test on Tuesday, October 2nd at 8:00am. If you are interestested in being in the military this is a test you will need to take.  See Ms. Spademan or sign up at the Counselor's bulletin board by  Thursday, September 26th, 2019

Yearbooks are in! You may pick up your yearbook before and after school in room 101.  

Interact still needs 5 people for Monday September 2, at 6:00. It’s a quick, easy help to some important people.  If you think you are able to help, please see Mrs. Moyer!

Attention Juniors and seniors: BGSU Firelands College is hosting college night on Tuesday September 10th from 6-7:30! They will be bringing over 70 college reps for you to speak with.  Grab your parents or friends and make plans to be at BGSU on Tuesday September 10th!

Any student interested in joining Key Club is invited to attend a brief meeting on Thursday, Sept. 5th at 7:40 am in the auditorium.

Junior and seniors are reminded if they are interested in doing ACT bootcamp to get your registration and money to the office by September 16th. For more information check your school email! 

Students interested in Speech and Debate - The first meeting will be after school on Thursday, September 5th in the auditorium. Ms. Baughman and Mr. Amstutz will be going over events, officer nominations, and other important information. New and former competitors are invited to attend!

The varsity volleyball team dropped a hard fought 4 set match to Huron 16-25, 28-26, 12-25, 16-25.  Kira Appeman slammed 18 kills and Olivia Vitaz added 13 kills.  Natalie Lambert dishes out 25 assists and Maddi Proy had 20 digs. 
 
The JV volleyball team lost to Huron 16-25, 21-25 and the freshmen team played well but eventually lost to Huron 20-25, 22-25.  Tannah Vitaz and Elena McCord were the top servers and Kalli Quillen led the team in kills.
