Morning Announcement for Friday, February 8
Today’s Trivia Question: In medieval times, which internal organ was believed to cause love?

The lunch menu for today is Charger cheeseburger or chef’s choice sandwich or salad bar, French fries, fresh veggies, fresh fruit, and milk.

Any 7th or 8th grade boy or girl planning to join the track teams this spring needs to sign up on the sheets outside of Coach Vajda’s room.  Be sure to include your afternoon bus number on the signup sheet.  When you sign up, it is important that you take a practice schedule from the folder next to the signup sheets. Make sure that you give that schedule to your parent. If you are planning on to join, but have not had a physical yet this school year, please see Coach Vadja or Mrs. Bishop for the forms. Lastly, if you are interested in pole vault as an event this year, please put a star next to your name when you sign up.

Attention 7th Graders: Your permission slip and/or chaperone slip for the D.C. trip are to be handed in no later than Friday, February 15 to Mrs. Bishop or Mrs. Vajda.

Carnations! Carnations! Don't’ forget to order your carnations! Today is the last day to place your order. Edison Middle School Student Council representatives are in the gym or you can see Mrs. Bishop during lunch.

The answer for today’s question is that in medieval times, the liver was believed to cause love.

We would like to close with this quote from Albert Ellis, psychologist. “The art of love is largely the art of persistence.”
