Morning Announcement for Wednesday, March 13
Today’s Trivia Question: How many pints of blood does the average adult have in his or her body?

The lunch menu for today is Domino’s pizza or chef’s choice sandwich or salad bar, side salad with chickpeas, fresh veggies with hummus or ranch, assorted fruit, and milk.

Don’t let those memories that you created this school year escape. Keep them forever by ordering your 2018-2019 EMS Yearbook. The yearbook has 48 pages with lots and lots of pictures and costs only $15. Bring your money and envelope back to school and see that Mrs. Bishop gets it or you may order online. The deadline has been extended through March 18.

Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders: Penny Wars starts today and runs through Wednesday March 20.  Each grade has a bottle that they may drop their donations into.  Pennies will add to the total, while silver like nickels, dimes, quarters and one dollar coins or bills will subtract from the total. Edison Middle School Student Council representatives will be in the gym every morning to assist you. The grade that collects the most amount of money will be rewarded to a make you own sundae event. If you have any questions, talk to your representatives.

We wish good luck to the 7th and 8th grade Power of the Pen teams who are competing at the regional competition at Lourdes University today!

The answer for today’s question is that the average adult has about 10 pints of blood in their body.

We would like to close with this quote from Barbara Sher. “The amount of good luck coming your way depends on your willingness to act.”
