Today’s Trivia Question: True or False: The Beatles Last LP, Let It Be was released on May 15, 1975.

The lunch menu for today is cheese omelet with sausage and chocolate chip muffin or salad bar, chef’s choice sandwich, hash browns, fresh veggies, assorted fruit and milk. 

We are following the PM asssembly schedule today. The Edison High School Stage Band will be performing.  

This week is Kindness Spirit Week. Tomorrow’s Spirit Day is Teamwork Makes the Dream Work Day. Wear your favorite team shirt or club shirt. 

Remember to hand in your kindness card during lunch, so you can put up a smiley face with your name on it.  In order for others to participate, we are asking that you only do it once.  

There will be a meeting on Monday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria for any 6th, 7th or 8th grade girl interested in trying out for the cheer squads. Fliers have been handed out.

Hey, it’s Back! The Scholastic Book Fair is open today and tomorrow from 7:40 am-2:30 p.m.  You should plan on checking it out. There are a lot of bargain books! 

This Friday, May 17 is the last day to turn in your Box Tops for this school year.  It is a tight race for the 4th quarter pizza party. It is between Mrs. Hansen’s last period class, Miss Wilbur’s homeroom and Mrs. Reinbolt’s last period class. Extra box top sheets can be found in the cafeteria and on the school’s website. 

Don’t Forget Physical Day at the high school will be May 21 from 5-7 p.m. The cost of a physical is $15.  You must call the high school to set up an appointment.  If you didn’t get a physical packet, see Mrs. Bishop or Mrs. Vajda. 

Edison Middle School Student Council will be hosting an 8th grade dance for our 8th grade students. It will be held on Friday, May 31 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dress Attire for the ladies is a school appropriate dress or skirt and blouse.  The gentleman are to wear their plaid or khaki shorts with a collared shirt.  Tickets will be sold on May 29 & 30 during lunch for $3.   No tickets will be sold at the door.
