Morning Announcements - Wednesday, May 15, 2019
Happy Birthday to Paige Reer!

Good luck to the girls softball team as they take on Galion in district semi finals, the game is at Lexington. Good luck tonight to the girls and boys track team as they travel to Oak Harbor for the district track meet.

The JV tennis team participated in the annual JV tournament on Tuesday night. Winning the overall 3rd singles title was Chris Maschari. Finishing second at no. 2 doubles was the team of Andrew Kibler/Collin Smith. Way to go JV Warriors!!!

The varsity baseball team lost to Galion 7-3.  Thomas Simon doubled.  Justin Hosley, Jacobee Kessler, Austin Kuluris, and Cooper McIntyre each singled.  McIntyre, Kuluris, and Aden Hall each had 1 RBI.

The JV Orange team beat Mohawk 16-2.  Michael Kasper, Keegan Smith, and Seth Thompson each had 3 hits, while Remmington Bauer and Jacob Robison added two hits apiece.  Hunter Penwell pitched 5 strong innings to get the win.

The library is closed today periods 1 - 4.

A friendly reminder to all Seniors to please get your lunch accounts paid off! If you have remaining funds at the end of school, please see Mrs. Anderson or Mrs. Geason for a refund form! 

All students: effective Monday May 20th,  through the end of the school year, we will not allow any negative charging to accounts. Please get those accounts paid up! Thank you!!

There will be a brief meeting in Coach Hammond's room this Friday May 17th at 7:40 a.m. to discuss June basketball & Findlay Camp.  If you can't attend this meeting see Coach Hammond. 

Yearbook orders are due by Friday at midnight - make sure you get your orders in before the deadline!  See Mr. Murray for an order form.

The Melon Festival Queens contest is for high school girls entering their senior year at Edison High School! It is a scholarship program where the queen and her court have the opportunity to travel around Ohio and represent our town and the Melon Festival! Any junior girl who is interested in running please meet in the auditorium after school on Thursday, May 23. Queen coordinator, Mandi Richards, and current/past Melon Festival queens will be here to talk about the program. Hope to see you there!

Attention any boys interested in playing golf on the high school golf team there will be a meeting right after school in Mr. Ceccoli's room today. The meeting will last 5 minutes.

There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone interested in cheerleading next year on Monday, May 20th at 5:30 pm in the high school cafeteria.  One parent must be in attendance.  Any issues with attending this meeting, please contact the athletic office. 

Attention Student Drivers:  The lot behind the new addition is now available for parking.  If all the spots are taken in the main student lot please park behind the building toward the game soccer field.

Student athletes are asked to schedule your sports physicals for Tuesday May 21st between 5 - 6:00.  See Mrs. Miller to schedule a time prior to the 21st.  There is a $15 fee to be paid at the time of your physical.  Physical packs can be picked up in the athletic office.  

The Art Club will meet Thursday instead of Wednesday this week after school in the Art room.
