Morning Announcements - Thursday, May 23, 2019
At 5:00 today, varsity baseball will be at Shelby for the District Semis with Gibsonburg.
At 4:00, boys & girls track will be at Lexington for regional prelims.

The boys tennis team beat Oak Harbor on Wednesday night 4-1. Winning at singles were Lincoln Meredith and Nathan Spence. Winning at doubles were the teams of Carter Kramer/Kaleb Yoder and Jacob Lombardi/Noah Pulaski. The team finished the season with a record of 16-3 overall and 13-1 in the conference to win its second conference title in a row. Congratulations to the entire team for a great season and the SBC Championship!!!! 

Winning for the JV tennis team at singles was Sam Lopez and at doubles was the dynamic duo of August and Otto Berckmueller.

Attention all junior girls!  It’s time to order your senior girls t-shirts.  Cost is $7 and must be paid for by today!  Emily Vogus will be in the library before school and  over lunch today.    Order forms are in the library now! 

Any students who require summer school this year - should visit the high school website and clink on the summer school icon for more information.

Attention students interested in competing in policy debate next fall:  Mr. Amstutz will be go over the 2019-2020 debate topic after school on Friday in the Conference Room.  We will go over all the materials and evidence for next year's topic.  Please make every effort to attend this important policy debate meeting if you plan to compete next year.

Junior girls, soon to be seniors, who are interested in running for the Milan Melon Festival Queen, Mandi Richards will meet with you after school today in the auditorium to answer and explain any and all questions you may have.

All library books are due by this Friday!

Any junior or senior girl interested in participating in the 2019 Basket Festival Queen's Contest please contact Halle Patton.  This is an amazing opportunity to represent your community while gaining new friendships and a scholarship! 

Art Club will meet today after school in the Art Room. 

Beginning Tuesday May 28, When cleaning out your locker - we will be collecting any school supplies that you don’t want.  Paper, pencils, notebooks!  There will be red boxes placed in the hallways for you to deposit these items.  All items will then be donated to organizations who need them.  

Immediately following the announcements, all Chess Club members should report to Mr Murray’s room for a group yearbook picture

Any girl who would like to play tennis next year should stay for a meeting in Coach Meredith’s room Friday after school in room 206.  If you can’t make the meeting see Coach before. 

There will be soccer open field today after school on the practice field for anyone who would like to play.

Petitions for Spanish Club and Spanish Honor Society officers are due this Friday May 24 by 3:15 to Profesora or Profe.
