Morning Announcements - Friday, May 24, 2019

Happy Birthday to Emma Houser, Madison Chaput, Jared Fraylick, Cole Weilnau, Eliza Brickner and Evan Grimm!

Saturday boys & girls track will be at Lexington for regional finals.

Congratulations to the boys 4x800 relay team! They qualified for the state meet next week by finishing 2nd at the regional meet last night.  The team of Dan Lambert, Jon Hrivnak, Cole Weilnau, and Ty Coon ran an 8:04.  They will run next Friday in Columbus. Way to go guys!

The varsity baseball team finished the season at 17-8 after falling to Gibsonburg in the district semi finals.  Caleb Bissell had a double, two hits and an RBI.  Jadon Hanson added two hits.  Luke Bissell and Austin Kuluris both singled.

Any students who require summer school this year - should visit the high school website and clink on the summer school icon for more information.

All library books are due by today!

Reminder to all students attending Cheerleading Camp - Deposits are Due on Tuesday.

There will be a boys soccer meeting after school on Tuesday in the auditorium with Coach Lewis for anyone interested in playing soccer in the fall. Summer and fall schedules will be distributed then.

Any junior or senior girl interested in participating in the 2019 Basket Festival Queen's Contest please contact Halle Patton.  This is an amazing opportunity to represent your community while gaining new friendships and a scholarship! 

Beginning Tuesday May 28, When cleaning out your locker - we will be collecting any school supplies that you don’t want.  Paper, pencils, notebooks!  There will be red boxes placed in the hallways for you to deposit these items.  All items will then be donated to organizations who need them.  

Immediately following the announcements, all Teen Leadership members should report to Mr. Murray’s room for a group yearbook picture.

Any girl who would like to play tennis next year should stay for a meeting in Coach Meredith’s room after school in room 206.  If you can’t make the meeting see Coach before. 

Attention students interested in competing in policy debate next fall:  Mr. Amstutz will be go over the 2019-2020 debate topic after school today in the Conference Room.  We will go over all the materials and evidence for next year's topic.  Please make every effort to attend this important policy debate meeting if you plan to compete next year.

All baseball players will turn in their uniforms on Wednesday at the fieldhouse after school.  Underclassmen will be required to stay until 4:30 to help clean up equipment and go through post season evaluations.

Petitions for Spanish Club and Spanish Honor Society officers are due today by 3:15 to Profesora or Profe.
