Kindergarten Registration
The Edison Local School District will be conducting kindergarten registration in May on an appointment basis. Appointments should be made as soon as possible beginning April 8.
A child must be five years of age by August 1, 2019 in order to register for the 2019-20 school year.
All of the kindergarten registration and screening this year will be conducted at Edison Elementary from May 28-30. Please call the Edison Elementary School office (419-499-3000), Ext. 1100 or 1101, for an appointment.
Each child will go through a series of play-based assessments, while parents fill out important information. Parents must provide a birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization records, proof of residency and if applicable, custody information for their child. Please bring these documents with you to the screening session.
Ohio law mandates that all children must attend kindergarten before entering first grade. We look forward to welcoming your child into the Edison kindergarten program.
