Morning Announcements - Thursday, September 3, 2020
It’s Charger ORANGE Day! 
 
Happy Birthday to Scott Baker-Gildenmeister 
 
Today at 4:15, girls tennis is home with Oak Harbor. At 4:30, freshman, JV & varsity volleyball are at Huron, also at 4:30, girls golf is at Willard. At 5:00, JV boys soccer is at home with Huron.

The Edison girls soccer team beat Vermilion with a score of 3 to 2 on Wednesday night. The Chargers first goal of the match came in the first half from Ruby Knowles with an assist from Jill Kromer.  Down 2 to 1 starting the second half the Lady Chargers tied the game up with a score from senior Captain Aliyah Caporini. The go-ahead goal of the match came late in the game from Megan Coleman with an assist from Caporini. Solid Goal Keeper play by Claire Treece secured the win late in the game. The Chargers will play again on next Wednesday with an away match at Port Clinton.

This opportunity is open to all Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in a CCP course.  The US State Department offers a "Critical Language Scholarship".  Stop in room 503 to see Madame Parker for more information.
 
If you are interested in joining the Speech & Debate Club this year, there is a quick informational meeting after school in the auditorium on Thursday, September 10th for the orange group and on Friday, September 11th for the blue group. Plan to attend!
