The Charger Wrestling Team ran their record to 29-0 by dominating the Division III Region 18 Tournament on Saturday at Oak Harbor. The Chargers beat Woodmore 74-0, Gibsonburg 67-7, and Oak Harbor 60-16. The Chargers will now advance to the Elite 8 in Columbus this Sunday for a chance to compete for a Division III State Championship. Wrestling begins at 11:00 on Sunday.
The boys varsity basketball team lost twice over the weekend to Willard and South Central. The boys were led on Friday by Grant Ott, who scored 17 points, and Will Daneker, who scored 9 points in both games. The boys return to action this Friday at Port Clinton.
The JV Boys basketball team had a two game weekend this weekend. Friday Night the Chargers started hot but fizzled out and lost a close game to Willard 49-39. Clay Byington led with 10 points. On Saturday the Chargers competed against South Central and kept control for most of the game until SC got hot and the Chargers couldn't quite make the comeback they needed losing by 6 points. Keegan Smith and Clay Byington each led the Chargers with 9 points a piece. The Chargers will face Port Clinton this Friday on the road. Go Chargers!
The Lady Chargers defeated the Port Clinton Redskins 50-31 on Saturday, moving them to 11-10 on the season. Scoring for the Chargers were Jayla Medina 10, Lindsay Roberts 9, Aliyah Caporini 8, Deana Blatnik 8, Kennedy Keefer 6, Olivia Vitaz 5, and Danielle Blatnik with 4 points. We are back in action this Thursday at home against the Huron Tigers for the last regular-season game. Come out and support your Lady Chargers!

Book Club will meet Friday, February 14th, at 7:15 in Room 203 to discuss the first four chapters of our new read, Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. Be sure to pick up a copy of the book from Mrs. Wobser when you have a chance. Breakfast treats will be provided. Hope to see you soon!
