Varsity/JV Girls Basketball vs. New London
The varsity girls basketball team started the season off on a solid note last night with a 56 to 30 victory over the New London Wildcats. Alana Fidler paced the attack with 14 points, while Molly Houser joined her in double figures with 12 tallies. Jessica Stoll added 8 points and 4 boards, while Hannah Vitaz and Aliyah Caporini hauled down 6 and 5 rebounds respectively.
The junior varsity won their opener 66 to 5 over New London. Ten players reached the scoring column last night paced by Leigh Anne Lambert's 12 points; Lilli Schuster 11 points; Eliza Brickner, Jayla Medina, and Lydia Woodyard all had 8 points each, while Madison Chaput added 7 points. Lindsay Sneider and Olivia Vitaz both pulled down 6 rebounds.
The Lady Chargers travel to the "Den" on Thursday to face St. Mary's at 6:00. Hope to see you courtside!
