Morning Announcements - Thursday, December 6, 2018
Today at 4:00, boys and girls bowling will be at St Joe. And tonight at 7, the Music Department will host it’s holiday band concert in the auditorium.

The boys JV basketball team took the Perkins Pirates into overtime on Tuesday night but came up short by a score of 37-34.  Grant Ott was the game high scorer with 12 points while Lincoln Meredith tossed in 7 points.  Luke Bissell contributed with 6 points while Andrew Neate pitched in with 5.  The boys next game is Friday at Margaretta.

Edison bowling teams traveled to Fremont once again in a roll off against Fremont Ross.  Varsity and junior varsity boys both got huge wins. Corbin Taylor was high for the jv with a 156 and a 179.  For the varsity boys Tyler Sayler led all scores with a 200 and a 198.  The varsity girls dominated Fremont Ross winning by 800 pins.  Kaylie Harris led the way with a 213 and a 151.  Great job by all 3 teams! 

Publications has started taking orders for the 2018-2019 yearbook.  Please turn in the form given to you by your homeroom teacher to Mr. Murray along with a check for $60 made out to Edison High School.  You can also order an EHS yearbook from jostensyearbooks.com.  

French Club, on Friday December 7th after school we will have our St. Nicholas party in Madame’s room.  For details, watch the board! Money is due for Chez Franzois now. 

There will be an Edison History Club meeting at 2:50 if you were unable to come this morning.  Please bring ideas and nominations for officers (self or acknowledging another worthy candidate.)  See Mrs. Davis or Sean Rhodes if you have any questions.

Attention Drama Club, a list of crew members for the winter one acts is posted on the call board.  Props and publicity will have a short meeting Friday at 3:00 in the auditorium.

Speech and Debate Members: The bus for Vermilion leaves at 7:25 on Saturday. Miss Baughman will be here for practices after school, so be sure to sign up for a time! 

Attention students attending the Margaretta basketball game Friday night.  Margaretta SADD students are doing a canned/non perishable food drive.  We challenge you to bring your canned goods to the game and we will see who has the most Christmas spirit!  We will also give you $2 off your ticket price if you bring 3 items.  This will also include adults.  All food collected will go to Grace’s pantry here in Castalia for families in need.  Show your spirit and bring your non perishable foods!!
