Morning Announcements - Wednesday, November 7, 2018
Happy Birthday to Devvon McNutt!

Come to room 204 and sign up to donate blood at tomorrow's drive.  Each donor  will receive a FREE t-shirt from the American Red Cross. If you are donating a few quick reminders: eat a good breakfast, drink plenty of fluids before and after your donation time and bring your ID. Thanks for giving the gift of life!  

The Edison Writing Lab is open during all lunch periods today.  If you need help with a writing assignment, bring your lunch and your essay to Room 201 today.

Eliza Brickner, Ester Brock, and Lindsay Roberts report to the library after announcements.

Math Lab tutors are needed for TODAY during 5th, 6th, and/or 7th periods.  Please see Mrs. Wally this morning if you are available to tutor in the Math Lab TODAY.  

Attention all students of Edison High School. The Hollander family had been accused of espionage they are currently held in a us embassy behind the iron curtain show them your support by coming to see the production of don't drink the water a comedy by Woody Allen on Thursday Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2:30 tickets are $5 for students and $6 for adults. They will be sold at the door.

Interact members who are still interested in going to the Peace Conference workshop this Saturday must stop by the library this morning and let Mrs. Moyer know you are attending! Please consider going! All Interact members need to sell your pizza palooza tickets!  When they are sold - return the money to Mrs. Moyer! 

An Open House will be held this Thursday, November 8 at EHOVE Career Center from 4:00-7:00 pm.  A free pasta dinner will be served.  Students and parent are invited to find out more about the career tech program available at EHOVE. This invitation is also extended to all school staff members as well.

Now is your chance to show what Do Right means to you!  We are sponsoring a competition…grab some friends and put together a short video of 30 seconds to a minute that best describes what the Do Right program means to you. All submissions need to be turned in by 3:00 pm on Friday, November 16th to Mr. Murray.  We will then pick a winning video that will earn an amazing prize!!

On Thursday November 8th, we will be beginning our OHgo Happy Project! Any students who would like to help - especially those in Interact and Key Club are encouraged to attend this meeting!  Please consider coming Thursday night (before the play - Don’t Drink the Water) at 6:00 in the cafeteria!  This meeting will help introduce you to all the good you will share! 

If you are 16 or older and are interested in donating blood at our first Red Cross  drive of the year please see Mrs. Davis today to schedule your appointment to give the gift of life!  The drive is this Thursday (Nov. 8th)

Book Club will meet before school this Friday, November 9th at 7:15 in Mrs. Wobser's room 203 to discuss up through page 349 in The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.  We will also enjoy some breakfast treats.  Hope to see you there!

Interact will meet tomorrow morning for a quick meeting at 7:40 in the auditorium!
