Morning Announcements - Tuesday, January 8, 2019
At 4:00 today, boys and girls bowling will be at Willard. At 5:30, JV & varsity girls basketball will be at Oak Harbor.

Congratulations to the students who placed at the Whitmer Speech and Debate Tournament. Sean Rhodes took sixth in Congressional Debate, Michael Roth & Vinnie Strong were fourth in Public Forum, Aidan Anderson & Otto Berckmueller were sixth in Policy Debate and Lexi Weyer & Jamie Anderson took first in Policy Debate. The bus for Berea Midpark leaves at 6:50! Be sure to check the bulletin board to make sure you're signed up. 

We are selling t-shirts and wristbands to benefit Anne Meredith and her battle with cancer.  T-shirt Order forms are in the athletic office and the library.  Wristbands are $2 and are in the athletic office and will also be sold during the lunch modules.  TLC will be hosting a spaghetti dinner from 4:30-6:30 before the freshmen basketball game vs. Bellevue on Jan 25th.  There will also be a bake sale and a basket raffle during the game that evening.  Please plan to come out and support Mrs. Meredith in any way you can on Friday the 25th.  

Just a reminder to all junior and senior National Honor Society members and potential members - all service hours are due by 2:50 PM on Friday. Please see Miss Cull if you have any questions.

Senior members - our last meeting of the semester will be on today right after school in Miss Cull's room. Please see her if you can not attend.

The Edison Middle School and High school  Drama Clubs are  proud to present their  Winter One Acts, Ten Ways to Survive the End of the World and Greek Mythology Olympiaganza  7:30  Friday, January 11th, and Saturday, January 12th,  All seating is general Admission. Tickets will be sold at the door. From ancient history to the end of the world, you won’t want to miss this! Come support the cast and crew! We hope to see you there!

ACT Boot Camp is happening once again!  Registration is limited to the first 30 junior and senior paid applicants.  Complete the registration form no later than February 6, pay with cash or check in the main office! Registration forms can be obtained from the library or from Mrs. Brown! Register now as class fills up fast! Questions?  See Mrs. Brown! 

A reminder that Chess Club will meet Tuesday after school in Mr. Newton’s room.

Are you interested in politics and looking for someone to discuss current events with? This Wednesday morning you will have an opportunity to do that.  Stop by Mr. Collins room - that’s room 202, at 7:30 and talk politics! Everyone is welcome to attend! 

Book Club will meet after school in Room 203 on Friday, Jan. 11, to discuss up through page 141/Chapter 25 of Dumplin'.  We will enjoy some snacks as well.  Hope you can make it!
