Morning Announcements - Thursday, May 1, 2025

Today’s weather is mostly cloudy with a high of 73.

The Charger Cafe will serve a manager’s choice entrée or Daily Grab & Go baked beans, fresh fruit and milk for lunch today.

Today’s Trivia question is: There is only one letter that doesn’t appear in any US state name. Do you know which letter is it?

There is a meeting tomorrow morning for all of the student council representatives at 7:10am. Please plan on attending as we have many projects yet to complete.

Today is Thursday, May 1 which means it is the first day for the 7th grade calendar raffle. Each day in May, not one but two, prize packages will be drawn from the calendars sold by 7th graders to raise money for their trip to Washington, D.C. in the fall.

Today’s package A is an Auto Care Bucket donated by Advanced Auto Parts. The winner of this prize is ALIVIA BRITTON. This ticket was sold by ANDREW PACHASA.

Today’s package B is a Coffee Basket donated by Brenda Bahnsen & Heidi Weilnau. The winner of this prize is SARA HOHLER and the ticket was sold by OLIVIA MEAGROW.

To those students who are testing today, just do your best!

Congratulations to the following Charger PRIDE winners for last week. These students should report to Mr. Smith’s office at this time:
4th Grade - Haven Lake and Abigail Baehr
5th Grade - Cylas Collinsworth and Ronnie Gose
6th Grade - Myles Nickle and Dawson Whalen
7th Grade - Colton Snyder and Lily Murr
8th Grade - Zoey Schaeffer and Alayna McGee
We would also like to congratulate this week’s staff Charger
PRIDE winners - Mrs. Ruffo and Mrs. Trizna!  Thanks for all you do for us.

The trivia answer is that the letter Q is the only letter that doesn’t appear in any of the US state name.

We would like to close with a quote from an unknown author: “Forget all the reasons it won’t work and believe the one reason that it will.”
