Happy Birthday to Lillian Kreglow & Gilbert Chambers!
 
At 4:15, tennis is at Calvert. At 4:45 varsity baseball is home with Port Clinton, JV baseball is at Port Clinton, and varsity softball is at home with Port Clinton.
 
The boys track team competed last Friday night and scored 55 team points. The lone champion on the night was Cole Weilnau in the 800m run. The boys compete again tomorrow in the 2nd annual Erie County meet. Good luck boys.
 
The boys tennis team participated in the SBC Tournament over the weekend. Congratulations to all members of the team for a very successful tournament! Finishing 2nd team all conference were Otto Berckmueller at 3rd singles and the no. 1 doubles team of Jeff Snyder and Collin Smith. Finishing with honorable mention honors were Parker Campbell, Noah Proctor and the doubles team of Kris Maschari/Jonah Main. Great job on an excellent performance in the tournament! 
 
The varsity baseball team split a pair of games over the weekend, beating Huron on Friday before falling in extra innings to Norwalk on Saturday.  Against Huron, Ben Bates pitched a complete game shut out with 8 strikeouts.  Dominic Dymond, Clint Finnen, and Bryce Michaelis had 2 hits each and Max Hoover doubled.  Against Norwalk, Thomas Simon led the offense with 3 hits, including a double and a triple, and 2 RBI's.  Brady Barker and Xander Danner each singled twice and Hayden Fry doubled.

Petitions are now available for students running for Student Council or Class Office. Speeches and petitions are due on Friday.
 
Reminder to all Boys Soccer players not involved in a spring sport that weight training begins Tuesday, May 3rd at 3:15pm. Please make sure you bring running shoes and a sweatshirt.
 
Attention Drama Club members, our awards night is tomorrow night at 7:30.  Students must be present or notify Mr. Stanforth in advance to receive their awards.  Please bring shampoo to donate to the Huron County Non-food bank. 
 
The junior class is now taking song requests for Prom which is May 14th. If you have any requests, there is a sheet in the library. Song requests will be accepted through Thursday, May 7th! 
 
Camp Invention will be hosting Chipotle night this Saturday May 7th from 4 -8pm in Sandusky! Please consider supporting the group fundraiser. You have to eat dinner!  When ordering online use code 666VQYW. Thank you!  
 
Anyone interested in running for a class office position or student council may pick up an information sheet from the high school office. Election details were also emailed to students.  Candidates for office must meet the criteria listed on the information sheet.  Class elections will be completed digitally this year through a Google Form ballot.
 
Attention Juniors and Seniors…Prom tickets are only available until tomorrow! Tickets are available during your lunch period for $40 each! Don’t be left out of prom! Get your tickets now! 
 
Summer job on Kelley’s Island sound interesting?  4-H has some fun summer jobs available Stop by the library for more information! 
 
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Huron County Humane society supply fundraiser! TLC & Stella wish to thank all those who did donate.  If you still have donations at home, please bring them to the library no later than tomorrow!  
 
Today is the last day to check out the lost and found items you may be missing!  Sweatshirts and water bottles are big items! Make sure you look in the janitor's room before the end of the day! 
 
Edison Elementary is looking for summer volunteers to help with Safety Town! Safety town will be held the week of June 13 - 16th from 8-10:00.  This would be great volunteer hours for any student here at Edison.  Sign up sheet is in the library. Mrs. McCoy & Ms Meredith look forward to seeing you! 
 
Attention Junior National Honor Society members. Our last monthly meeting will be tomorrow right after school in Mrs. Facemire's room. It will be very short so please be on time. As a reminder, you are only allowed to miss 1 meeting before you are asked to leave NHS. See Mrs. Facemire if you have any questions.
