Morning Announcements for Wednesday, April 6th

Today The Charger Cafe will serve lasagna with breadstick or Daily Grab and Go, Romaine side salad with chick peas, fruit and milk.

The weather for today is cloudy with occasional rain in the afternoon and a high of 58.

Our joke for today is: What is a tornado’s favorite game to play?

Power of the Pen has practice on Thursday, April 7 from 3-4 in Mrs. Hansen’s room.

Congratulations to Savannah Reiter and Addison Chambers who participated in the Ohio Music Education Association Solo & Ensemble event. Addison received a rating of Superior and Savannah received an excellent rating. Great job, Addison and Savannah!

The Annual Grades 6-8 Student Council Penny Wars Contest runs through next Tuesday, April 12 up on the stage during homeroom. Remember pennies add to your total, while silver subtracts.  The silver coins are dimes, nickels, quarters and one dollar bills.  The grade that collects the most will be rewarded to a “Make Your Own Sundae” event.

The 8th grade students will be taking part one of their ELA test today.  Take your time and give it your best on this test.  Due to testing please remember to be quiet in the hallways today!

The answer for today’s joke is that a tornado’s favorite game to play is TWISTER!

We would like to close with this quote from an unknown author: “Sometimes we’re tested.  Not to show our weaknesses, but to discover our strengths.”
