It’s progress report week - make sure all your work is done and turned in!
This morning girls golf will be at SBC’s held at Fremont Central Catholic. At 4:15, girls tennis is at St. Mary’s. At 5:00, Boys Jv soccer is at home with Norwalk.
The boys varsity soccer team put in an amazing effort last night as they defeated Huron 1-0 in a big SBC match up. Xander Danner netted the lone goal off a Garret McQuillen assist. The boys return to action Wednesday at Willard.
The Edison Girls soccer team lost a hard fought battle with Huron by a score of 2 to 1. The Chargers lone goal was scored by Abigail Hearing with an assist from Isabella Sanabria. The intense match went back and forth till Huron took the final lead in the second half. The Lady Chargers will look to bounce back to their winning ways on Wednesday when they play an away match at Vermilion at 5pm.  
The varsity volleyball team beat Western Reserve 25-20, 25-21, 24-26, 25-15.  Olivia Vitaz dished out 50 assists and had 14 digs.  Kira Appeman had 18 kills, 24 digs, 16 points, and 2 aces.  Lydia Woodyard had 17 kills and served 12 points.  Lindsay Roberts had 9 kills and 6 blocks, and Skylie Hixon had 24 digs.
The JV volleyball team lost to Western Reserve 20-25, 16-25.  Sianna Woodyard and Ella Habeck each served 3 points.  The freshmen volleyball team also lost to Western in straight sets.
Edison staff is sponsoring the Edison Do RIGHT Breakfast this semester.  If you want to be invited to this delicious breakfast make sure you meet the following criteria: 2.5+ GPA, 2 or fewer absences, 2 or fewer tardies, 2 or fewer detentions and no class removals, Friday schools or suspensions.  We hope to see all of you there.
The athletic office is selling pre-sale tickets for the varsity football game at Port Clinton on Friday night.  All pre-sale tickets are $5 while all tickets at the gate will be $7.
A reminder to all Juniors: Pre ACT will be given Thursday September 23rd in the cafeteria at 8am. All other students are asked to be quiet while in the halls and freshmen should take all materials with you as you will not be able to go to your locker until after 4th period. 
A reminder to those Spanish Club members who would like to run for an officer position, your petition is due today to either Profe or Profesora. Also your membership dues of $5 is due by this Friday - September 24th! 
Any student interested in participating in the annual OCTM Mathematics contest held at the end of the month, please see Mrs. Facemire for information. Registration is due by September 24. 
Any students wishing to run for a Key Club officer position should sign-up on the sheet outside of the auditorium.
