Welcome back! New Year…New You! What's your New Year's resolutions? Lose weight, maybe gain weight, getting all your school work done on time, or maybe perform a random act of kindness every day? Whatever you believe in resolutions or not, decide to make 2022 the best it can be!
 
The Charger Wrestling Team had a very successful Holiday break by finishing in 2nd place as a team at the First Annual Edison Holiday Tournament.  Winning individual championships for the Chargers was Abe Hermes, Max Hermes, and Remington Bauer.  Taking runner-up honors were Marcus Medina, Duke Hermes, and Jackson Berardi.  Jacob Thompson and Logan Lloyd took 3rd and Clint Finnen rounded out the scoring by taking 4th.  The Chargers will be back in action this Saturday as they travel to St. Eds to wrestle the #1 ranked teams in division I and 2.  Good luck boys! 
 
Speech & Debate Club - Miss Baughman will be here today and Wednesday after school to work with students. Remember to sign up for this weekend's Chardon tournament today! 
 
Attention Senior National Honor Society members - our monthly meeting will be this Tuesday, Jan 4th after school in the Innovation Center. Please see Mrs. Facemire if you can not attend.
 
Attention all members and potential members of National Honor Society - please remember that your service hours are due at 3 pm on Thursday, January 13th. Please turn all forms into Mrs. Facemire ASAP and see her with any questions.
 
Attention any student who would like to compete in Public Forum debate with the Speech and Debate team in the month of January:  It's not too late to still join the debate club and compete this season.  Mr. Amstutz will meet with any interested debater who wants to debate the January topic about legalizing drugs after school on Tuesday in the library.  Cases, evidence binders and strategies will be distributed.  Current debaters who want to debate the January topic should also attend!
 
Tickets for the Snow Ball will go on sale next week for $10, they will be available through Thursday the 13th and the dance will be held at EHS on Sunday, January 16th.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs Davis or a Student Council member for details.
