Happy Birthday to Wyatt Ball!

The Lady Chargers came out on top last night against St. Joseph Central Catholic 57-48, moving to 3-5 on the season. Kalli Quillen led the Chargers in scoring with 20 points, Izzie Sanabria and Jorja Byington had 9 points each,  Lindsay Roberts had 8 points, Ivy Kluding with 6, Jillian McDonnell with 3, and Audrey Linder with 2 points. The JV Lady Chargers also won 30-28. Cydnie Barnicle scored 14 points, while Elena McCord had 7, Mallory Meister 4, Avery Rutherford 2, Taylor Geiger 2, and Haley Chaput with 1.  We are back in action Friday night at Margaretta with a 6:00 pm JV tip.
 
Edison Charger bowlers took on an undefeated Boys and Girls Willard team on Tuesday. The Charger girls fell short to a very tough Flashes team 2,122 to 1,630. Leading the girls was Piper Ball with 333 and Allison Collins 246. The Charger Boys came up short losing their first conference match by a score of 2,399 to 2,187. Leading the boys was Wyatt Ball with 379 and Cullen Wilbur with 345. JV Boys also fell to the Flashes 1,598 to 1,420. Leading the boys was Korrigan Sanders with 276.
 
It’s the last week of showing off your Christmas spirit and wearing your pajamas! Make sure you stop by the library and enter your name in for a daily prize! Tomorrow is wear your favorite holiday t-shirt! 
 
Student Council is delighted to announce we will be hosting a Snow Ball Semi-Formal Sunday evening January 16th at Edison High School. More details will be shared January 3rd!  Have a great break EHS!!
 
There will be a Spanish Club "Fiesta" after school on Thursday.  See Profe with any questions. 
 
Senior members of National Honor Society, please check your email TODAY.  There have been some changes to the painting schedule that you need to be aware of. See Mrs. Facemire with any questions.
 
Speech & Debate Members, Miss Baughman will be here for practice today. Remember to sign up for the Brecksville Tournament on Classroom! 
 
Teen Leadership Corps is still looking for Freshman and Juniors to play in the volleyball game this Friday during the holiday assembly.  In order to be on the team you must bring in new hats, gloves, scarfs, those will then be donated to the Salvation Army. There is a sign up sheet in the library. Head to the library and sign up. This promises to be a great time. 
 
This is a reminder to all Interact members & all other students here at Edison - that Project Happy is all this week.  Please bring your boxes to the library either wrapped or unwrapped!  We’d like to have 100 boxes by this Thursday! 
 
Christmas time is finally here. The Edison Show Choir annual Christmas Spectacular performance is December 18 at 7pm in the EHS auditorium.  Please join us for a night of Christmas spirit and fun to kick off winter break! Admission is by donation, and doors open at 6:30. Hope to see you there.  For more information, stop by the music room.
