Charger Bowlers finally got back home for a non-conference matchup vs Port Clinton! The guys got out to an early lead and never looked back winning by over 100 pins! Leading the charge was Devon McLaren with 309 and Aydan Houser with 298.
Lady Chargers bowled well but ran into a pretty good Port Clinton team eventually falling behind in the baker games. Leading the ladies was Piper Ball with 324 and Lydia McQuillen with 283.
Last night the Lady Chargers traveled to Firelands for a non-conference matchup. We came up short, losing 52-41. Lindsay Roberts led the way with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Kalli Quillen scored 13, Izzy Sanabria 9, Jorja Byington 3, and Natalie Leimeister scored 2 points. In the JV game, the Lady Chargers beat Firelands 38-20 behind 14 points from Natalie Leimeister. Also scoring for the Chargers were Mallory Meister and Elena McCord with 5 points each, Avery Rutherford and Taylor Geiger with 4 points each, and Haley Chaput, Maylie Weilnau, and Ingrid Berckmueller each scored 2 points.
Auditions for Once Upon a Mattress, Edison's spring musical, will be today after school and Thursday January 13. Crew applications are due January 13. Information is available on the bulletin board in front of the auditorium.

Attention all students interested in working outdoors with kids of all ages, Sports Force Parks is hiring a variety of positions for the Spring and Summer seasons. From working on the Field crew to the amenities crew, there is a position that suits everyone. Representatives from Sports Force will be here over the lunch periods on Friday, January 21st. Please stop and see them to see if Sports Force park is the place for you.
For students interested in taking CCP courses next school year, the College Credit Plus Family Information Night will be on Monday, January 24th at 6:00pm in the High School auditorium. For families that do not feel comfortable attending this information night in person, the presentation will be recorded and posted on the High School website as well as sent to you through Final Forms. It is required that new CCP students and their families view the presentation and strongly encouraged for returning CCP students as well. We will cover what CCP is, delivery formats, benefits and cautions of CCP, next steps, required paperwork and placement testing. Please contact Mrs. Kovach with any questions!
TLC will be hosting a cake raffle during the boys basketball game this Friday, January 14th when the boys take on Huron in the Thunder-dome.
