The track team will be finishing up at Regionals on Saturday beginning at 11:00 in Lexington.
The varsity baseball team scored 7 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning and held on to beat Wynford 8-6 in the district semi-finals. Hayden Fry led off the big inning with a triple, followed by a double from Noah Smith and a triple by Brady Barker. After a fielder's choice failed to get an out, Bryce Michaelis blasted a double to score Barker with the go ahead run. Clint Finnen had 2 hits and an RBI, Hayden Fry doubled in a run, while Max Hoover and Xander Danner each singled. Thomas Simon pitched 6 innings to pick up the win and Ben Bates pitched the 7th inning to close out the game. The team plays Margaretta at 2 pm on Saturday at Norwalk High School for the district championship.
Attention all track athletes. Uniform turn-in and equipment clean-up will be today, immediately after school. All athletes are expected to turn in their jerseys, shorts, and raincoat, as well as help, clean up all equipment.
Attention all Juniors- The senior t-shirts are $10 and must be paid by cash only to Olivia Wilson or Natalie Leimeister. T-shirts will be passed out in the library before school on Thursday, June 2nd. No shirt will be ordered without payment in advance. See Olivia or Natalie with any questions.
