At 5:00 today, girls soccer will take on Perkins at home and at 5:30, Jv & varsity volleyball will be at home with Margaretta.
The boys varsity soccer team rounded out their SBC league play last night with a 1-0 win over Willard, the lone goal was scored by Garret McQuillen. The boys finished league play in second place with a 7-2-1 record. They are back in action on Saturday at Norwalk as they look to finish the regular season with a win.
The Edison Girls Soccer team got a home win over Lorain by the score of 12 to 1. Abigail Hearing got the Lady Chargers on the board first only 5 minutes into the match. Hearing would score two more goals before the night was over getting herself a hat-trick for her efforts. Also with a great performance was senior Megan Coleman who also scored a hat-trick on the night. Rachel Frederick had two goals in the win over the Lady Titans. Alaina Keegan, Morgan Moon, Alyssa Rice, and Haley Chaput all had one goal each during the match. The Lady Chargers are back in action on Thursday with a home match against Perkins at 5pm.
Congratulations to the doubles tennis team of Alli Vogus & Torri Keyser for winning their first two matches at districts. They have earned a spot at the state tennis tournament next Friday at the Linder tennis complex in Cincinnati. Good luck ladies!
