Boys/Girls Cross Country - Regionals

Congratulations to the Charger boys and girls cross country teams for their exceptional efforts in last weekend’s regional championships. The girls placed 8th while the boys finished 9th. Four Lady Chargers, Paige Schaefer, Peyton Facemire, Lindsay Sneider and Ava Miller ran personal record times while Abby Lesniak led the way with a third place finish and a state championship berth as an individual. The boys were led by Ty Coon’s individual state qualifying 5th place finish. Personal bests were recorded by Aidan Anderson, Eli Webb, Brock Tice and Will Duniver. Both Abby and Tyler will compete in next Saturdays State Cross Country Championships at National Raceway Park in Hebron. Abby will run at 11:45 and Tyler 2:15.
