The varsity girls basketball team defeated St. Paul last night 40 to 28 to improve their record to 15 and 4 overall. Aliyah Caporini paced the balanced attack with 12 points, 10 steals, and 5 blocks. Alana Fidler tossed in 11 points and hauled down 6 rebounds, while Mariah Medina contributed 9 points and 7 steals. Hannah Vitaz added 7 points and a game high 12 rebounds.
The freshman girls basketball team lost to Perkins yesterday 28 to 20. Lydia Woodyard led the way with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Lindsay Roberts tossed in 4 points and 5 rebounds, while Leigh Anne Lambert scored 4 points and Lindsay Sneider added 3 points and hauled down a team high 7 rebounds.
The Lady Charger basketball teams are back in action tomorrow night when they travel to Vermilion for a junior varsity tip-off at 5:30. Hope to see you courtside.
